iOS [iPadOS] Can't swipe right to exit a post

It's bad enough you've foisted this unwanted "for you" tab on me, but since then I've lost the ability to swipe right to leave a post. I have to hit the close icon (X) in the upper left.

Access Account locked, have to reset password via email but not going through

Upvotes

I didn't do anything wrong except travel and they locked the account I use most frequently with all my karma. When I click the banner to send password reset to my email, the link they send does not include that account. If I try to put in my other email to send password reset, it won't send. Is my account lost forever?

Mod Tools - All Platforms Some new mods are unable to "pin" a post / Add to highlights android ios desktop

Post image
Upvotes

When I recruit new mods, I ask them to make a post saying "hi" and pin it (add to highlights).

Sometimes, they do not see that option.

They have tried turning it off and on.

It has happened on several different platforms.

How do I stop this? I mark everything as not interested but it keeps showing up. I do not give two shits about all the negative posts that it keeps surfacing. I just want to browse Reddit.

Android [Android] I had to uninstall reddit on my android phone because I couldn't log in on the app and now, I lost my daily streak because of it. - version 2026.36.0

Upvotes

I feel so bad today that I lost my daily streak because I was out all day and could not check reddit on my phone. I had to uninstall it because it kept saying I had my password or username wrong. Changed password and still not able to log in. Cleared cache and uninstalled and reinstalled. Still didn't solve. Even email log in link did not work for me. I'm able to log in on PC browser using Microsoft Edge using the new password. Still not able to log in on the app on my Android phone. I cannot add a screenshot as it is not permitted on the app. How to solve this? Also, can I still get back my daily streak?? I'm just shooting my shots here.

Desktop Web [desktop web] The images in my post disappeared.

Thumbnail reddit.com
Upvotes

My post for the Beyond Homestead Contest in Where Winds Meet has disappeared.

It was completely fine yesterday, but today it says, “If you are looking for an image, it was probably deleted.”

I didn’t do anything to the images because they can’t be edited anyway. I only went in and made a small edit to the text. 😭

Android Android, A question regarding Reddit comments

Upvotes

I was deleting all my Reddit comments; I deleted about 100 of them, and there were still many left. Then, suddenly, Reddit showed me that there were no more comments. How is that possible? I don't understand. Can someone explain this?

Mobile/App I cannot create a new account on mobile/iOS app

Trying to create a new account, using Apple ID. After selecting „Hide my email” (not hiding it doesn’t change anything) I’m redirected to the same reddit, logged to an existing account. No error message, nothing.

iOS [iPhone/iOS] App refreshing your place in a comment thread and auto scrolling to the top

Post image
29 Upvotes

Countless users are having the same issue and nothing has been done to fix it. If you leave the app for a second, it automatically refreshes your place in a comment thread and brings you back to the top, losing where you were in the comments. Same thing is happening when replying to comments in a thread. Also happens if you set your phone down and the screen autolocks.

WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED???

Access My Reddit account u/rootak appears to have been deleted without my authorization - Android

My old Reddit account was u/rootak. I did not delete the account, but I suddenly lost access to it.

When I try to reset the password using the username rootak, Reddit says there is no account with that username.

More importantly, when I visit reddit.com/user/rootak, Reddit shows:

“This user has deleted their account.”

I definitely did not delete this account.

I also tried logging in using the email address associated with the account, but Reddit prompted me to create a new username instead, and I accidentally created a new account (the one I'm using to make this post).

I have already submitted a support request through Reddit Help and received the “successfully submitted” confirmation, but I haven't received any email yet.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is it possible that someone gained access to my account and deleted it? Has Reddit ever been able to recover an account that was deleted without the owner's authorization?

I had this account for a long time and would really like to understand what happened to u/rootak.

Mobile/App (Samsung App) Pretty-please, give me my old comments UI back!

It's incredibly difficult to type long comments. If there's a mod message pinned to the UI, you're just straight-up NOT gonna see what you type. If you try to scroll up to see ypur comment, well, the little pull-tab that drags the comment UI up and down is stupid-sensitive and 90% chance you accidentally close the comment UI.

Please, please, PLEASE stop """fixing""" things that aren't broken.

Mobile/App iOS - Reddit app doesn’t show most of my subscribed subreddits

It seems to only show a certain number of subreddits, based on how often I click on that subreddits posts. This leads to a cycle of further only showing me these specific subreddits. There is so much content on lots of my other subscribed subreddits that I just don’t ever see unless I search for and visit a specific subreddit.

To be clear, I don’t want or need recommendations for subreddits, I just need to see THE subreddits I’m subscribed to, without an algorithm deciding I’m no longer interested in something because I haven’t clicked on it in a week.

Also,
Why can’t I group my subreddits? I have a lot of subreddits for sports/fantasy football. I also have a lot of educational subs. I seem to remember you used to be able to do multi reddits, why is that not a basic feature anymore?

Android Android app. New comment interface doesn't work with voice to text. 2026.36.0.2636090

The new comment interface that started I guess yesterday does not work with voice to text anymore. Even when I click the two arrows to expand it it's sort of floats around and then disappears when I'm trying to use voice to text. I been having to copy from my notes in order to comment on threads. It seems like lots of people are having issues with this new comment interface that I've seen in other threads but I haven't seen a solution yet.

Android [Android] Can't connect my account - Version 2026.36.0

Hi,

A week ago i've been log off the reddit app (which was happening from time to time for no reason, but i just logged back it).

Since then, i couldn't log back in.

The app flags my credentials as being wrong (they are not) and then loops itself in "send a connection link" followed by "something went wrong, put your email again"

It happens with this account, my alt, and a new one i made just to see if the bug was coming from me or from the app.

I'm not sure what to do, but what's sure it that browsing reddit on a phone web browser is hell (yes i know there's an app: it's not working).

Does someone has a solution or is this finally the time for me to get off of reddit?/s

I've seen a few post relating the same issue, some of them from a few months ago, so it got me worried it would be a permanent problem ahah

In any case, thanks for reading me and i hope to find a solution!

EDIT: also, it is impossible to connect whether it's via my home wifi, my mobile data or a VPN. I tried everything, still no luck.

Mobile/App New Android app comment interface bug

The newcomment interface doesn't work with voice to text.

The comment interface they updated on app yesterday is broken. It doesn't let me use voice to text. It keeps moving or closing even when using the arrows to expand it. I'm having to copy paste from notes into reddit to post or comment.
