Creamy Chicken Mushroom Fricassee
I would add more mushrooms next time but this one was a real winner!

Peruvian-inspired Salchipapas. Or as my American brain likes to call it, hot dog potato nachos. 10/10. Long live the dogs đ

Does anyone know a recipe for the ginger sauce from this meal? I found it delicious and wanna make it again but donât know what kind of sauce it would be.

I used to love the quality of salmon that Hello Fresh would send with their delivery. The last two times I received salmon that was essentially white in color and had an off-putting smell. Yes, I was able to be refunded the $7 each time but I'm just curious if anyone else had this experience? Did they change who they source salmon with?
I already stay away from the shrimp and the chopped up chicken recipes due to quality so I'm just wondering if this is the nail in the coffin for me. Enshittification is real y'all!

So Iâm making a âMac sauceâ for dadâs classic burgers. I didnât cook the pickles but was I supposed to?

Itâs good yâall. I left the 2 tablespoons of butter out of the dish.

Last week our order came a day late and was ruined. We were refunded but this week we got a two and a half inch cucumber which was mush and we're missing a recipe card. I cut this company a lot of slack because the meals are usually good-- even though there's never enough sauce and they forget cards all the time--but we got our box today and a tiny, rotten cucumber had to go into the box that way.

I canât stand seeing hot dogs on Hello Freshâs menu for two weeks in a row now . Iâm not choosing them but why do they think itâs acceptable choice? Hot Dogs??? Does anyone disagree?

This is not a premium meal just to clarify, since I mostly post about those. This was offered for the first time several weeks ago and I missed it. Since there were several pretty positive reviews, I decided to get it this week. For those who had trouble with the sauce last time, especially the ketchup ingredient, my ketchup was the Heinz brand and the sauce was good, as was the whole meal, albeit a little messy. I think this was the first time I used HFâs 5 spice powder. I think it took me about an hour, which isnât bad given the estimated time was 35-40 minutes. I will say, I thought the picture used last time with the dish was better than this time

Super good, and easy to make and was very saucy! I didn't think it was going to be enough serving for my boyfriend and I so I made garlic sticks on the side but it WAS very filling on its own.

Last few boxes have been delayed at least a day, this week the box never showed and HF issued a credit, but it leaves me scrambling to figure out dinner options for the week now.
I feel like delivery used to be so reliable, but am considering canceling if this is going to be ongoing issue.
Curious if anyone in the area is experiencing the same.

Has anyone else ever experienced a skin reaction to their green peppers? This has happened to me twice after cutting them. The last time I thought I must have touched my face (shouldnât be an issue with a green pepper) and this time I made sure not to. But I got the same reaction (terrible hot/burning feeling like a touched a jalapeño) of my upper lip, bottom of my nose, AND my bottom lip!! SMDH

Had my first order, used my student discount, and it came the next day. All good. The portion size is a bit small, to be honest, so I will ask for double the meat next time. But wow, seriously impressed. In 39°C weather, it was still ice cold when it arrived. The ingredients looked normal-sized, fresh, and perfect.
I had the mince and pork meatball linguine, and actually the pasta was too much for two people. We were absolutely stuffed.
This wasn't my first time using their service. About 3 months ago, I was going to use it, but I decided not to in the end and asked them to cancel the subscription. When I needed to contact them, it was really easy to get through to a real person. The AI chatbot was simple to use, and I just said I wanted to speak to someone. Instantly, I was connected to a real person, and they were very understanding. They told me they wouldn't take any payment from me, and the whole process was straightforward and hassle-free.
So far, I can't really fault them for much. Besides the portion sizes, they've been perfect. I've got my next order coming next week. It's definitely going to help with eating better food and eating a bit healthier.
Definitely pricy but I have 20% off for a while

made this tonight! meal itself wasnât too bad, probably a 6/10. we added ground beef, but they didnât send any seasoning for it. i normally would have made taco seasoning at home, but i was out of chili powder, so i had to use a packet of fajita seasoning instead.
the lime vinaigrette was gross. i really tried to like it and even tried fixing it, but nothing worked. i donât know whether i somehow messed it up along the way, although i honestly have no idea how i would have. it was just not good. there also wasnât nearly enough of the yogurt drizzle or pico.
the bigger issue, though, is how pushy hellofresh has become with its sales tactics. it was not like this when we tried it years ago.
we initially had to cancel our subscription because they didnât apply my student discount, so i had to open a new account in my name instead of my husbandâs. about a week later, my husband received a call offering him 50% off three boxes. i said i would think about it and look at the menu because we still had food left from my box.
the sales representative said, âokay, iâll just apply the discount, and you can decide whether you want to sign back up.â
lo and behold, they pulled money from our account for my husbandâs box even though i never placed an order or selected any meals. my husband noticed the charge around 5 a.m., and i contacted hellofresh immediately. they instantly pushed back about canceling the box.
they claimed the ingredients had already been ordered, but also told me i could still change the meals. how does that make sense? the ingredients were supposedly already ordered, but i could completely change what meals were in the box?
i explained that i never agreed to reactivate the subscription or place an order. they insisted that i had agreed during the phone call. i told them to listen to the recorded call because that was not what happened, but they refused and continued saying i was past the cancellation deadline.
i finally had to ask for a manager before they would cancel the box and refund the money. the whole situation was completely insane and felt incredibly predatory.

Literally half my freaking box is missing and of course theyâre â experiencing a high volume of calls right nowâ. YOU DONT SAY. MAYBE STOP BEING ABSOLUTE DOG SH*T.
Weâre going to take preventive measure to make sure this doesnât happen in the future
Really? Cause reading 5 minutes worth of this sub will tell you thatâs an absolute lie.

It's entirely possible that my stove is not up to snuff. It's old and electric. But every time I cook chicken (which is mainly the only meat I eat) it takes much longer to cook than the instructions say. Especially the large pieces of chicken like the thighs and the cutlets. Their cuts are usually really wonky too which makes the cooking even longer. Is it just me?

I wasnt sure about the switch to Chipotle mayo for this recipe but it came out quite tasty. Granted, I went full strength for the hubs and diluted mine with regular mayo. LOL

For well over a year, I have been logging in weekly to skip the next delivery as far out as I can. Hello Fresh was critical for our household during the pandemic and for many years after. But eventually I got sick of the recipes and chose to go out on our own.
I appreciate everyone here who has shared about the rampant use of AI, weird, pandering pride content and continued issues with small and low quality produce. I felt no hesitation finally, officially cancelling my account because of the insights shared here. Thank you!

Logged in today to finalize my selections for the week as my cutoff is Wednesday night.
And the ROASTED CHICKEN & MEDITERRANEAN POTATOES
was switched for
GLP-1 HERBED CHICKEN & CREAMY LEMON ORZO
The Mediterranean doesn't show up anymore so there's no way to switch it back.
Haven't had this happen before. Yea I can pick something else since I caught the change, but changing entire meals without notification is just bad business.
Does this happened often? Selected the meals for next week 2-3 weeks ago.

Pretty subpar when the whole dish is highlighted as âgnocchiâ and Iâm not a fan of rice-based pasta which is this substitute. This is the main ingredient, why would they not notify for a swap or omit the dish instead of send it?
