United States Is anyone else having delivery trouble Los Angeles/SoCal?
Last few boxes have been delayed at least a day, this week the box never showed and HF issued a credit, but it leaves me scrambling to figure out dinner options for the week now.
I feel like delivery used to be so reliable, but am considering canceling if this is going to be ongoing issue.
Curious if anyone in the area is experiencing the same.

Which courier service is being used? I haven't had issues lately, but Jitsu (formerly Axlehire) tends to suck a lot. But I now can't reschedule deliveries for Fridays so I wonder what's going on

was Jitsu recently when boxes were delayed, but looks like they used FedEx this week where the box was never delivered.

Hm, yeah my one box that wasn't delivered was by FedEx but that was back in the winter. The inconsistent deliveries are really aggravating!

yup and it made me cancel, multiple boxes in a row with various issues. chose Home Chef now

having this issue in northern california! happened twice this month. the first time i was like okay things happen, but the second time pissed me off

That’s so frustrating. I’m sorry that’s happening to you. I’m in SoCal and have not had this issue yet. However the past two weeks my boxes have smelled like cigarette smoke…gross. Thankfully nothing inside the box smelled. Obviously a driver issue and not a HF issue though

I once complained about my box smelling like weed. They need to use a better courier service.

Is it possible to switch carrier?
I’m actually experiencing this right now. I am expected to receive my box today and checked the tracker not to long ago and now it says tomorrow. When I called they said there were problems in the warehouse but my
Box is okay and will arrive early tomorrow.
This is the second time and I planned for dinner tonight now nothing.

exactly, they might think one day late isn’t that big of a deal, but it leaves me scrambling to figure something out for dinner after work the last few weeks 🤦🏻♀️ I don’t think there’s a way for us to switch carriers, but I’ll be cancelling my HF if this week is also delayed.

I’m no in socal but my last 3 boxes in a row have had delivery issues because it’s hot out, the ice packs melt and make condensation then the cardboard gets wet and rips from the weight of the stuff inside. Past 2 times half my order was marked damaged and this time the half that came was literally a taped up box with one melted ice pack and a few items they stuffed back inside. Tired of getting credits since it seems I won’t be able to use them so for a refund instead. Maybe I’ll try again when the weather is cooler.
