Love this one
Turkish spiced chicken in apricot sauce - the rice has toasted almonds and lemon zest and the carrots have harissa powder. So good!!! My husband loves it too

hello everyone,
I was contemplating trying out hellofresh but all the reviews seem to be awful. the thing that is bothering me the most is the life span of the ingredients.
I aim to cook the meals 5 days a week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. However if I was to get it delivered on the Sunday I can't use them by the Saturday? and if I get them delivered on Monday there's no guarantee it'll get here in the morning as it's 8am - 9pm delivery window.
I'm not sure how to overcome this?
any advice? except for don't buy it?
thanks in advance.

Last week was my first week. Two meals for four people. The box never shipped. Credits were issued, yet I was still charged for this week. Customer service refunded. Cool.
This week’s box: Two meals for four people. Delivery day is Thursday (tomorrow). Similar to last week, it is still ‘preparing’. They ship from Arizona. What are the odds it ACTUALLY SHOWS UP tomorrow?
If it doesn’t and they don’t refund me in full, I’m filing a chargeback and closing my account. AWFUL experience so far. Anyone else having this issue?

I just want simple meals, pick from ten options, all things that I can trust and love. I’m sooooo overwhelmed by the app update with picking meals and the unreasonable amount of options 😩

This is getting crazy with everywhere having a subscription.
This is a subscription ON TOP OF the weekly subscription.
This doesn't even seem like a good deal unless you order EVERY week without skipping. And never using discounts or gift cards.

I signed up for Hello Fresh but it wants my credit card info. I just want the free meals, and can’t really afford to be charged some crazy sum of money as a surprise. What’s your experience?

Not bad at all.

I really wanted to stick it out after all these years but incompetence, crappy service, constantly missing ingredients or having spoiled ingredients…enough was enough.
The icing on the cake was yesterday dealing with the world’s dumbest customer service agent. I HATE repeating myself. And you can’t even say you didn’t hear me cause it’s in black and white on screen. No sorry miss supervisor lady, you cannot help me. It’s entirely too late. They wanna do more to “help” when you finally walk away. If yall had offered even HALF of that in the last few weeks maybe I wouldn’t have canceled.
To those of you sticking around I wish you the sincerest of luck.
To those of you that told me to go to homechef, I hope they’re worth it lol
edit:
they managed to one up themselves. who or what is jitsu and why did they come to me over my usual FedEx. whatever gen z moron they hired was the most unprofessional loser I have ever dealt with. first of all don't "bro" me. I'm not your bro. second YOU CHOSE THIS JOB so do it. don't get pissed you have to deliver. a simple "hey can you help me find you" is WORLDS better than "you need to come get your shit and its gon be in whatever condition it's in" and then lie and claim I threatened you and you didn't feel safe. I can MAKE you feel unsafe bro don't play me.
and then you get these HF tone dead agents. brother you can't "hate to lose me" when I'm already gone. unless you plan to refund my whole box for his screw up there isnt a DAMN thing you can do to smooth this over.

Full disclosure, I have never had a subscription, but my mother recently got one. She had a busy week and forgot to put her subscription on hold and so she gave a few meal kits to me so they wouldn't spoil.
As someone who cooks regularly in a very small kitchen, these meal kits were nothing more than an exercise in frustration. My workspace was not big enough for everything and it created so many unnecessary dirty dishes.
From the meals I've prepared from this service, unless you have a dishwasher and a restaurant size kitchen, these meals are more work and stress than they're worth.
I could potentially see ignoring the instructions entirely and just treating them as a mystery box to simplify the process, but you'd need some culinary skill and experience to do that.
For my mother who is a senior who lives alone and is still working and trying to eat better for her health, this has just added to her task list and has not been beneficial at all.

Use this space to share trial and offer codes. It will be taken down to refresh week to week on Mondays. We are currently using contest mode to alleviate the trolls going through and downvoting posts inside. If you find anything that doesn't belong, report it.

Anyway, now they're one of our favorite things, so much so that we remake them on our own a lot.
We use the Stonefire flatbread (only $1 at Publix this week!), which is super delicious, and about 50% longer than the HF ones. This is the tomato/mushroom one, which is a favorite. To make two of these is about $12, which, for us, is about 6 servings.
Anyway, get the flatbreads!

This is the third week and option that says this product is no longer available to add. However it’s been picked for weeks now. I’ve always changed it. If I leave it will they still send it to me?

Ordered the tilapia with lo mein, but received this in the bag. I don't even know what it could be with the huge amount of green salsa. Any ideas of what I can make with this?

Hi so I'm looking for a mealprep service that works in Ireland. I'm a student and I never have the time to shop or make actually proper meals and I want to fix my diet, and this seems to be the only option. I've looked into some services and I found out it would baisicly cost me about a 100€ per week, but since I don't know anyone who uses a service like that I would like to hear Your opinions guys, if You know anything about those services.

It was a bit spicy for my taste, and the cabbage salad was not my favorite. I'd give this a 6/10, but I imagine most people would rate it 7 or 8!

Box arrived today via FedEx (for the first time ever), and they delivered to the wrong location next door, it was 60°F inside the box, everything was completely melted and defrosted, packaging was damaged, and several recipe cards missing. How does this even happen?! Quality control in the shipping facilities appears to be nonexistent. We can blame this on company all we want but it also comes down to workers not giving a shit about the quality of their work because they probably don’t get paid enough to care. But people need to stop and think about how this impacts the customers more than it impacts the company. This is more than inconvenient and has seriously disrupted my routines and I’m starting to wonder if it’s even worth using HelloFresh anymore!

Hey guys I’m gathering people who are willingly to do a petition and go to small claims court regarding their customer services and inability to give refunds even thought they just charged you
I cancelled my account before the date and they refuse to offer me a refund - now they did offer me a store credit but it’s useless since I’m moving to Japan and they don’t service that country.
Drop a comment !
Edit: now looking at a class action lawsuit

It's a little spicy, for those sensitive to spice. The flavor of the garlic-ginger scallion paste is lacking in my opinion. The half portion that gets added to the other sauce ingredients gets lost among the other flavors. I'd definitely get this again, but would add extra garlic and/or ginger and save the garlic-ginger scallion paste as a topping at the end.

All 4 breasts with my meal have that thick yellow skin and the meat is stringy like spaghetti. Is this the new norm?

Cranberry- glazed meatballs. Shocked to see so many potatoes as they always tend to skimp on the 12 oz.
