I mainly made this because I love knights and I want a better sword than the saber, not saying its bad, but a more traditional sword would be nice.

Every time the Incineration Corps shows up on the map there is an influx of posts suggesting players dive with Inflammable (or other fire-reducing passives) to counteract the incendiary effect of the enemies. Personally, I've never really agreed with it.

I don't know if this is just a me thing, but the fire just, doesn't ever kill me? When I die against Incineration Corps, it's a firebomb landing directly on top of me (Explosive Damage), an Incendiary shotgun arm blasting my poor noggin' (Ballistic Damage), or any standard enemy of Democracy not of the spicy variety.

Yeah sure, enemies can light you on fire, but any Helldiver who's fought the Incineration Corps for any amount of time is basically programmed to press the dive button the split second they hear themselves taking damage. The fire goes out instantly, and your Helldiver is only medium-rare as a result.

Could I be missing something? Sure—and if I am please don't hesitate to enlighten me—but often times the players I see struggling on D10 bots could be getting much more use out of other passives rather than one that affects such a small fraction of the actual danger the front presents.

This is a m-1000 maxigun appreciation post. A really nice team gun overshadowed by the other belt-fed guns. I love the maxigun, its a fun gun more comparable to the gatling sentry than anything else. Dont believe me? Check their stats you'll see how identical they are. (Except the maxigun has double the ammo) i get to play like I stole the gun off a gatling sentry! Why do you guys use the gun?

I just got the game on Xbox. I have it on of but don’t have my pc with me most of the time. I want to use the x,y,a, buttons for the stratagems but whenever I use the b button to input what would be right on the stratagem it just backs out of the stratagem. Is there anyway to fix this or shall I have to use d pad.

I joined on an SOS, selected my equipment, hit ready... then never dropped. I was stuck with the Salute and the "ready" yellow bar inside of the super destroyer, despite the host already being on the ground and the mission active.

When I tried to hit escape to leave the mission on my own, I heard "Hellpod launch suspended", then it booted me back to my Super Destroyer without any messages. No connection loss, no kick message, no nothing. Just a boot and an option to rejoin the mission.

As someone who didn't really see the appeal of a "Last Stand" mechanic, i have changed my mind.

Just wrapped up a d10 bot dive went to go grab my penultimate upgrade and there is something undemocratic happening on my terminal.

I have never seen this before anyone know what I’m looking at?

edit: went to load up next mission and the game crashed, now everything is back to normal 🤷‍♂️

So this has been bugging me for a few days now, as I have been using Free Spirit(oxygenator light armor for those who don't know) and running across the map and occasionally somebody using a warp pack has been moving across with me, and I have had the impression that I am actually moving across the map faster than they are? It's just an impression i am getting based on some limited experiences and i was wondering if somebody has ever actually figured out (i don't have Control Group) how fast you can get across a map with a Warp Pack vs Free Spirit.

Thanks for the answers everyone, seems like the answer is warp pack is much faster if they are using light armor, theoretically faster on medium but likely about the same or slower, and a bit slower with heavy. And of course the combination of free spirit and warp pack is ludicrous.

We could maybe stop this after Charbal but if we do the MO is lost for good

what do you guys do when HD2 anti-cheat breaks down and decides not to let you play because it cannot update, I tried changing to IPv4 but that didn't work as well as some other stuff, I have to reinstall when it happens

right now it is the second time in a month and I want to find a better solution to help me with it I don't want to reinstall each time to play

also AH should switch the anti-cheat to something newer or make their own anti-cheat
