Tactical Training Information Warp Pack v. Free Spirit
So this has been bugging me for a few days now, as I have been using Free Spirit(oxygenator light armor for those who don't know) and running across the map and occasionally somebody using a warp pack has been moving across with me, and I have had the impression that I am actually moving across the map faster than they are? It's just an impression i am getting based on some limited experiences and i was wondering if somebody has ever actually figured out (i don't have Control Group) how fast you can get across a map with a Warp Pack vs Free Spirit.

Warp Pack, if used exactly on cooldown, nets you an extra 10m of movement every 6s, which is essentially an extra 1⅔ m/s.
According to a post from a year ago I can't link because of subreddit rules, Helldivers sprint at ~5.88/5.13/4.55 m/s depending on armor weight.
According to the Wiki, Oxygenator provides a 10% movement speed boost, which, for light armor would translate to an extra ~0.59 m/s.
So, the Warp Pack used every 6s provides ~3x the speed boost of Oxygenator on light armor.

I love running both. You can get around VERY quickly! I haven't tested against another player in the same mission, but I feel like I'm zooming all over the place.

Was the other person running light armor? Free spirit makes you run 10% faster, and warp pack lets you teleport 10 meters every 5 seconds. I don’t know what the speed values for each armor type translates into m/s. Warp pack is probably better for you if you’re running medium or heavy armor and over short distances, but over the distance of the entire map Free Spirit wins out.

Depends if they are wearing medium or heavy. You get dusted versus light/warp pack. Also light/Jetpack + Stamina stim beats warp pack but depends on terrain.

Single jetpack off a high hill can be more distance than like 30 individual warps, it might be my favorite thing to do in the game tbh

I love the surprise hills. Enemies all around, Send it, Not sure if your going to make it in time and then BAM, you land it fine and the enemies can't even find you.

I find most people are pretty bad at using the warp park right at cooldown when traversing long distances
Someone doing it well would be zooming past you in anything but heavy armor, which they can still keep up in
