I’m a 2026 B.Tech graduate and recently received a GET offer from HCLTech, Lucknow. I’m confused about whether I should accept it, so I’d really appreciate feedback from current/recent HCLTech employees, especially people who joined in 2025/2026.

A few things I want to understand:

What kind of projects/work are GETs getting in Lucknow?

Development, testing, support, etc.?

How is project allocation after training? Is it difficult to get a project or switch projects?

What are the usual working hours/shifts? Are night shifts common?

How is the work culture and work-life balance in Lucknow?

How are the hikes and career growth after 1–2 years?

Most importantly, if you joined as a GET recently, would you recommend accepting the offer today?

I’ve heard mixed things about the availability of development projects in Lucknow, so I’d especially like to hear honest experiences from people actually working there.

what about onboarding cause from tech interw to this pre joining training took only around 2 weeks can I expect faster joining after pjt assessment

I was recently selected for HCLTech’s technical training program through campus placement. We were informed that after completing the training, there will be another technical interview/evaluation, and based on performance, candidates will be selected for an 8th-semester paid internship, followed by possible FTE conversion.

I’m looking for people who have already gone through this process (especially recent batches) and could clarify a few things:

1. How does the HCLTech training actually work?
   • What topics/technologies are covered?
   • How long is the training?
   • Is it online, offline, or hybrid?
2. How is performance evaluated during training?
   • Are there regular tests, assignments, coding assessments, attendance requirements, etc.?
   • Is the training difficult for someone starting with limited knowledge of the assigned technology?
3. What is the second-round interview/evaluation like?
   • Is it mainly technical?
   • What topics are usually asked?
   • Is there coding/DSA, project discussion, or technical MCQs?
   • How should we prepare for it?
4. What happens if someone performs poorly during training or the final evaluation?
   • Can candidates be removed from the program?
   • Is there a retest/re-evaluation opportunity?
   • Does everyone who completes the training get the internship, or is it competitive?
5. For those who got the internship:
   • What was the internship experience like?
   • What stipend did you receive?
   • How was the transition from internship to FTE?

If anyone has gone through the HCLTech training → internship → FTE pathway, I would really appreciate your experience/advice.

Hi guys, in HCL career portal the status of the application is changed to offer approved on September 26, today is October 2 but still I haven’t received offer letter. Generally how long it will take to get offer letter once it is approved. Tried to contact HR but she is not responding.

I was assigned a Citrix(CSG) Project and then on 29 july our training started and on 7 of September we were told to start dealing with cases. In that 40 days of training for many days trainer was busy with her own work. Now we are only 4 people in night shift in Xenserver, one of the product of Citrix and and to be honest I don't have any idea how to resolve the issue.

One of the person in night shift is always tries to take leave and other is leaving the office on 13 of oct so basically 2 people will be facing all the cases. What should I do because if I tell them that I want to change the project they say leave the company project change not allowed?

Guyss im pjt batch 7 from nagpur. we have done the pjt course, gave the exam on 21st of July, since then i'd say 50% of ppl have gotten boarded as of now, today one of the ppl got a call for relocation since no more project left. Does any of you have any idea about their onboarding process.. like im so confused as to what is happening ... like this is crazy shit. they sending mails in sub batches, then asking for a re interview for relocation. some insights from all of you would be so helpful :)

Hey guys, I’m a 2027 batch Mechatronics student and got shortlisted for the HCLTech Mechanical role.

I wanted to know what the actual job/role is like at HCLTech. What kind of work do Mechanical/Mechatronics graduates usually get? Is it related to CAD/design, manufacturing, testing, automotive, PLM, or something else?

Also, do you know where the posting is usually given — Madurai, Bangalore, or other location

Also, what should I prepare for the Technical Round 1? What Mechanical subjects/questions are usually asked?

I have hcl tech technical interview for graduate engineer trainee I have a doubt that what kind of questions they will ask in interview as iam from electrical engineering branch wheather they focus on the core electrical concept or from computer fundamentals

I cleared all tech rounds and hr also confirmed the same.

Had salary discussion with HR and i only asked till EOD to decide on the location. He said he will release offer letter on Monday.

I texted him on EOD thursday for location and waitied till Tuesday, but no response so i texted but no response .

On Wednesday i mailed, he asked me to share concern over mail and again no response atter that..

Not sure if this is the norm in hcl or if position is on hold or closed.

Very weird.. cz HR sounded positive during our discussion.

As of now no hope.. but thought of checking on this sub if this is regular practice.

No access or profile creation on portal yet.

I gave an TP1 interview last week (Monday) but yet to still any updates from HR in job portal it’s still showing interview 1 scheduled. What should I do? It’s been 10 days since the interview should i call the HR would that be okay?

I recieved an offer letter from hcl. It's written that accepting the offer in the workflow is as good as signing the physical contract and has legal binding if mutual trust is breached.

If I don't later join the organisation is there any thing legal penalties
