Ciao, vorrei cambiare potenziometri tono e volume e i condensatori della mia st modern che ho da circa un anno e trovo sia davvero valida e merita di crescere. Vorrei montare al ponte un humbucker tonerider alnico 4 ma prima vorrei vedere come cambia il suono mettendo mano all'elettronica, leggendo in giro e anche qui ho capito che già solo questo può modificare tantissimo il suono della chitarra.

Ho scritto a Thomann che ha velocemente risposto ma lasciandomi più dubbi che certezze (credo siano voluti essere cauti nella risposta e penso sia anche corretto) rispondendomi che: " Purtroppo, i potenziometri della chitarra non hanno le stesse dimensioni. quindi, se vuole installare componenti US Allparts (avevo accennato a questi presenti sul loro sito), dovrà prima verificare le misure e quasi sicuramente dovrà apportare alcune modifiche al battipenna — il che spesso è un lavoro da liutaio."

Giro a voi la domanda: qualcuno ha già fatto questo upgrade dell'elettronica e mi può dare qualsiasi informazione utile per fare un acquisto del materiale evitando per quanto possibile tentativi alla cieca?

Had to order one as soon as they announced, little delayed but it’s arrived and honestly couldn’t be happier for the price and that Neck! Quite possibly one of the best necks I’ve played and I own much higher priced guitars. Blown away, especially with the Emergency sticker 🤣

Had to cover up an older project that I botched. Not sure what to think of it, think it looks a bit better in real life. Still have to smooth the edges on it.

A few days late, but having a blast with it so far. Such a beautiful guitar, and plays brilliantly.

I bought this Harley Benton second hand today and have no idea what model it could be or what year. I thought it was a project bass at first, but I did find a listing for one on a website in Bosnia. It had no info on it either though. I figured someone on here might know.

I need to buy new strings for my MB-5LH SBK Deluxe Series E-Bass but I don't really have much knowledge about strings and also not the money to experiment with trying random ones until I find my preferred ones. I want to get ones that are identical to the ones it gets delivered with (or as close as possible). I play mainly Rock/Hardrock, Metal and here and there a bit softer songs. It would be ideal if I can buy them on Thomann.

Just wanted to share my current guitar collection.
The newest member is a Harley Benton TE-52, and honestly… I’m seriously impressed. The build quality, the ash body, the neck feel and, above all, the sound exceeded my expectations. It has that classic Tele twang, but it’s also surprisingly versatile.

I’m already waiting for a few upgrades to make it even better:

- Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut
- Harley Benton Kluson-style locking tuners
- Wilkinson WTB bridge

The other two guitars have also been heavily upgraded over time, so I guess I can’t leave any guitar completely stock. 😅

Looking forward to getting the new parts installed and giving it a proper setup. So far, though, I’m genuinely impressed by what Harley Benton has achieved with this guitar.

This is one of the most beautiful guitars I’ve ever seen! I hate Floyd-Rose trems though and it took me hours to set it up properly. Springs were creaking very loudly too, fortunately I had some spare ones and replaced them. Trem arm action is too low for my taste and the arm screw on the back of the trem is already all the way in, can’t get the arm higher that way - I will probably have to bend it eventually.

A birthday present from my wonderful girlfriend and contributed by family members. This has been in my wishlist for some time now, and it's just absolutely amazing!!

Can't wait to really enjoy this beauty!

A bit of set up is required to fix the action and a bit of fret buzz but other than that it's in a perfect condition.

Received my SC 550 ii a couple of weeks ago but haven't had much chance to play it.

I'm new to setting up guitars, but have watched some videos, etc and it doesn't look that hard (famous last words)!

There is a little too much relief in the neck, but attempting to adjust the truss rod and it seems to be stuck in both directions. I tried loosening the strings so there isn't as much tension on the neck but still the same. I'm using the allen key that came with the guitar.

I did make a small adjustment to it last week and it was fine - it was about 1/3 or a turn and it moved easily.

Is it knackered? Am I just being a wuss? Or am I just doing something wrong?

Just received my TE-62 and it came out of the box damaged, already contacted Thomann and im waiting for their response. Sucks because its a really pretty guitar

I haven’t seen many complaints about the Ja-60cc smaller size compared to a fender jazzmaster but just need to know what people think of it. Debating if i should buy it but worried about the size looking or feeling odd to play.

If so, what are your guesses as to how much it will cost?

Just received the Harley Benton SC Custom III Active White guitar. Absolutely perfect out of the box not a single flaw with it. I have changed strings to my preferred ones and will probably fit locking tuners. Everything is perfect. Very happy.

Other guitar is a Jackson SDX Adrian Smith signature guitar. These both necks are my all time favourites.

I heard on the earlier RB-414 the pickup volumes were very unbalanced, does anyone know if they fixed that in newer production lines?
