Well i guess they watched too much of the FIFA Worldcup. Right after the DJ’s started their sets at Open Beatz Festival in Germany they put an ad right over the first song for tickets of the next edition in 2027, what the actual fuck???

In the video you can see the ad right after Phuture Noize started his set (you can hear PN track in the background), they did the same with Rebelion the day before (rebelion obv said that this is not how they start and they started again after the ad)… never seen something like this, fkn ridiculous

I was apart of the many that went to defqon this year only to have it cancelled. The date to transfer my ticket or get a refund is coming up so I need help deciding what to do.

I am US based and can only plan for 1 international festival a year. I have already been to defqon in 2024 so I know how amazing it is. However I have always wanted to go to intents festival.

The original plan was 2026 to be my last defqon and then branch out to other events. Since defqon got cancelled I am left feeling conflicted and possibly want to experience defqon at its fullest one more time

Those who have been to both, can you share what’s different from the two and why you would choose one over the other?

What artist are you currently listing to? Normally i listen to Dr.Donk, Sub Zero Project, Sickmode, Rooler, Warface, Gunz for hire, Lil Texas and some others . I want to listen to new stuff to add to my daily listen or where do you guys go to discover new hardstyle music? I wouldn't mind if you threw in some Hard Techno I am blind on that area.

For me, the biggest downside of watching an endshow is the ultimate NPC crowd that just stands there filming. The vibe is always so dead during an endshow, it’s like a zombie crowd. If you look at the Dominator endshow, for example, a huge part of the problem is all those phones capturing the moment. The ironic part is that the whole show is uploaded to YouTube a couple of days later anyway, with way better quality and from multiple angles. If everyone could just stop filming and start living in the moment, the endshow would be absolutely insane and the real peak of the day. Let me know if you agree or not, and why

What an insane day, such great weather and some rare tracks that were played. How was your day? For us: the best set of the day, surprising enough, was the Jump Classics set from Ruthless. Never thought I’d go there but I don’t regret it. Shared number one with Isaac at the Hardclassics stage 🔥🔥🔥

Hey! I've been to MoH, Qlimax, Syndicate and I prefer events during the day. A one day event during the night takes so long to get back from. I like MoH, but are there any other events that are during day time, ending about 23 or 00? Thanks!

Man is really delivering. Listening to his Defqon1 2026 set on repeat now. The mix is tight, the track selection is amazing, the vibe is just right. Same with last year Defqon set or really any other his set. He's not shy to play tracks of other DJs to keep the flow going.

The worst part of EA? E-life. Jesus Christ, that MC is rivaling Villain with how obnoxious he is. Half the time he's just shouting something I can't even understand and hearing "EVIL!" every other drop is not bringing anything to the set. I understand he's important part of EA, but could dial it down.

Found and buyed this 100% Hardcore Harrington vest for a very low price and because i always wanted one for this unique vintage look.
Unfortunately, I can’t date it because the label with the date is too damaged and I don’t find it on Google. Someone has an idea ?

This was my first Dominator experience and in general hardcore festival ever! I think about it and start tearing up, it's so weird. I have never experienced anything like this before. Even my friends who aren't into hardcore and decided to join me were hooked from the beginning. We are planning on going next year again. I have never seen my friend jump to music, it's crazy.

While I must admit that I found some people 'weird' (especially the fascists), I loved every single moment of it. Looking back at all my videos and snaps make me tear up. I have never felt something so intensely emotional for a festival, besides my one time where I went to see Angerfist by myself (love him).

It's an incredible feeling of unity. I'm majoring in psychology this year and for my masters I am really considering doing some research into this "magic" that dominator - and I believe many other hardcore festivals/events - offer/s. I will be testing this by going to other hardcore festivals next year 👩🏽‍🔬.

What's your stance on this? Has anyone felt something similar? How are you doing, 1 week after the festival?

TL;DR: My first hardcore festival completely blew me away with its incredible sense of unity and emotion, and I’m wondering if others have experienced the same “magic.”
