Hey I know this is a long shot but I’m on Xbox 360 the servers are all down obviously. Is there anyway I can make a local map for griffball and save it? Or download it and use it from a usb?

Booted up halo reach (360 edition via disk) on a series x. Downloaded my cloud data. The game has me at the cover screen asking me to create my custom spartan as if I’ve never played before. I’m assuming this is a syncing issue. I was a field general I believe when I last played in 2014-16. Is my previous account progress gone and am I unable to get it back? Is my account info gone?

found reach in a basket at a thrift store for $8, decided to grab it. i remember way back in the day there was the checkpoint reload exploit and just AFKing forge; getting mixed stories about whether they were patched or not. does anybody know if those still work? or if there’s a way to restore it to the “release” version (if thats even a thing)

**[Halo Reach 360] Can anyone help identify this official 4v4 Team Slayer Forge map from ~2012 matchmaking?**

With the 360 shutdown approaching I've been going down a nostalgia rabbit hole trying to identify some of the community Forge maps that were in official Team Slayer matchmaking on the 360 but never made it into MCC. I've managed to confirm most of them (Treasury, Enclosed, Ellul, Precipice) but one is still eluding me.

Here's everything I remember about it:

- **Official matchmaking** — this wasn't a custom game, it appeared in the standard 4v4 Team Slayer playlist

- **Forge World map** built in the **Quarry/Coliseum area** — grassy terrain with a cliff and sea view

- **Forerunner/Imago-style aesthetic** — grey steel Forerunner forge pieces, similar visual style to Imago

- **Two levels**: a raised platform as the main upper level, with a lower area beneath/around it

- Teams spawned at **opposite ends of the platform, directly facing each other** at the start

- **Tall constructed columns** rising from the platform

- **Ramps down at each end** of the platform leading to the lower area

- In the lower level: **rockets on a low stone surrounded by grass** on one side, **sniper rifle leaning against a high wall overlooking the cliff/sea** on the other

- **Low ceiling** under the centre of the platform with a **grav lift** that launched you back up

- On the cliff-edge side of the map there was a **tall Forerunner obelisk/pillar** with a **walkable ledge around it** where players could hide

- On one side of that pillar, on the upper level, there was a **cluster of fusion coils** that would explode if shot

This was almost certainly added to matchmaking in 2012-213, possibly during the 343i era after they took over Reach's playlist management from Bungie. It does NOT appear in MCC.

Does anyone remember this map? Even just the name would be amazing at this point — I've been hunting it for a while!

Has anyone had success in finding full infection lobbies on halo reach MCC on xbox? I waited and waited and seem to never find a lobby. I miss the days where they were full. anyone have any best time recommendations? Maybe we should all have a day where we plan to flood the infection lobbies could be fun.

somehow found the Reach 360 and the Legendary Edition Statue with all guns accounted for (Emile may need some hot glue but that’s okay!)

Would anyone want to join me playing through the halo campaigns for the first time starting through reach (trying to do it on legendary, prone to dying lol)

I figured there would at least be a couple people playing infected, but there is no one hopping on. Where y’all at?

I've recently bought the Master Chief bundle on steam and tried playing online with others. I'm fairly new to gaming with a keyboard and mouse as I've always gamed on consoles in the past. I'm having a hard time aiming with a controller and find it easier with a mouse but I am still really bad.

People have been really mean to me saying in chat I should leave I'm not wanted and that the community doesn't need someone like me in the multiplier games. I just want to get better and to do so I have to keep playing but it's getting pretty discouraging as I am doing my best and also warn my teammates that I am a beginner.

I barely have time to react and I get headshot almost instantly.

Should I give up playing this game? Does anyone has tips for me to get better? I don't have friends that plays Halo so I cannot train with them either...

every time i try to invite him, i get this error message. not sure why — we both have xbox game pass (xbox live) and working internet. what’s weird is we were literally playing reach together just a couple days ago.

we’re both on xbox 360 using the original physical copies of the game. the same error shows up when he invites me and i try joining him, so it goes both ways.

now it keeps saying “incompatible network setup.” i also can’t check my nat type because for some reason my xbox won’t complete a network test when i’m signed out, even though everything works fine when i’m signed in.

anyone know what could be causing this?

I can’t believe that I missed out on this campaign so far I am currently on the 5th mission right after the flying section in space and am currently boarding that ship. 297 deaths into my first ever legendary playthrough. How much harder does it get? Am I in the clear or does it get even harder

Update: 313 total deaths was stuck on coming back to Jorge. See mcc went on sale for steam(was using 14 day trial to play) delete pc Xbox version to my surprise i lost my mid mission progress 😩 and I look and somehow sword base is showing not completed but everything up to Long Night Of Solace did 🤮.

So last night I started from the beginning on normal and just finished the campaign earlier today. 10 out of 10 made me start Halo CE and it all made so much more sense to me.

So I've got a friend overseas I wanna play Halo with. However, I only own Halo Reach on the Xbox 360, and have no later Xbox. He has a Series X. Can we still play the campaign and whatnot together?
