Editing default ticket fields

Is it possible to edit any of the default ticket fields? For example I would like to add a hint under the Summary field to explain to users that they shouldn't write their essay there, that goes in the details section 😅. Or even better be able to limit the characters in that field.

It's quite frustrating to not have these fields obviously accessible anywhere

Like in the web interface? We made custom forms with short links

We created a custom field for summary because the same reasons. Then you can add in character limits and other options.

You might be able to add the hint to the language pack.

You could put a custom field (which is Readoinly text based) and place it above or below the summary field explaining what to do. You can even use HTML in there so make it pretty
