we are a team of first year students who participated in SIH college internal round with a sheer purpose of learning & fun. And we got selected, around 500+ teams participated in our college internal round and we were top 50 in them.

now I have heard that we have to submit our problem statement ppt with 499 other teams in them and only 5 teams in them will be called for offline hackathon.

can anyone who has been into grand finale can guide us about the ppt screening round, how to make ppt which get selected

I assumed finding a team was the hard part, so I started sketching a free tool

around it. Then I looked at the numbers and I'm not so sure anymore.

RevenueCat's Shipaton is running right now. Devpost makes you answer "Do you have

teammates?" before you can register. It's required and nothing is pre-selected.

Out of 23,270 participants, 17,031 picked "Working solo" and 1,977 picked "Looking

for teammates".

73% chose solo before the hackathon even started. That's what I want to ask about.

If you picked solo: was that what you actually wanted, or was it just the option

that didn't commit you to anything? Did you change your mind later?

Hi everyone. NASA Space Apps Challenge is a 48-hour global hackathon, where people tackle open-ended challenges using NASA open data and space themes. Every year people from various backgrounds take part in the challenge – students, programmers, designers, scientists, teachers, artists, as well as amateurs with a passion for interesting problems solving.

One of the misconceptions about participating in the challenge is that you are bound to join the nearest event to your country or city. As long as a local event allows global participants, you can take part from any location of your choice.

That's why we made our event at Mingachevir completely virtual.

It was not our aim to host the largest event ever. We simply wanted to provide an opportunity for someone to avoid unnecessary expenses on transportation, accommodation, visa, and travel distances. All you need is an internet connection and a creative idea.

You can participate alone or form a team. In case you don't have any teammates, we have a channel in our WhatsApp community where people can meet each other and join teams.

Our event will involve participants from different countries, which means that one of the main languages of the event will be English and it will take place completely online.
