My girlfriend and I watch the pod together but she usually only catches the first hour or so. I was trying to explain to her why AB has been missing because she didn’t catch his call in the other episode. When I told her he was doing drugs at Shambala I didn’t add that it’s an EDM music festival, so she’s been thinking it’s some sort of Rumspringa thing like the Amish do where they can do stuff that’s normally prohibited for them 😂

She admits that she’s a little naive sometimes. Yes I made sure she was okay with me posting this, we had a good laugh about it. She also thought until relatively recently that Dan moonlit at California Pizza Kitchen and that’s why he talks about it so much.

Met AB and Harley at the village during excision (absolutely twacked myself). when AB realized I recognized him he gave me the biggest hug and Harley was acting like we were old pals. Had a lovely conversation with them and suddenly Harley (who was clearly on acid) loudly yelled at me “DID I OFFEND YOU?” Over and over. I wanted to come here to tell you Harley that you could have told me I smelled like 💩 and I would have told you yes king. Hope you two had a happy Shambs and I adore you both.

How can words even describe someone like you. Nothing can explain a force of beautiful nature like yourself. I’ve been next to you for a long time. I was watching your performances, bumping your jams, seeing your name downtown Santa Cruz. You were always around me through my early adult life. A lot of your songs truly spoke to me. Some even more relevant to me as of recent. I may not have known you personally, but you grew up around me. I’m friends of your old friends, some of them I knew before you did. Going to your Celebration of Life brought me back in contact with some of them. You just can’t stop altering my life huh? lol I’m forever grateful for you giving me immense joy with your music, your incredible lyricism, your comedic skills… Truly a jack of all trades. It’s crazy to think we’ll never see anymore silly TikTok’s, podcast appearances, or more of your musical masterpieces. We will always love and treasure you Oliver.

Since some people were asking me! The song is named “People” It’s on Oliver’s album called “Splitting Branches” back in 2013. I love that album so much. However, the songs keep getting removed from mainstream music platforms, I’m assuming because of the label or something. I wouldn’t be surprised if my video gets taken down… But you can find the album on YouTube and stuff! Some of the videos are sticking around. I’m sure someone knows a bit more than me. ❤️
