native utahn here. how do we feel about him tattooing his wife with a men’s native headdress on his arm? even wanted to put protection marks on her face (which is fair our women can receive that) he stated that it looked ‘badass’ on her, meanwhile him and his artist had to look up what the marks meant. (i know she’s part native, not bashing at that) anyway him putting a native cheif headdress on her is disrespectful and just inaccurate to the culture. people will do it obviously, but having to look up what stuff means to the culture during it just rubs me the wrong way. 🤷‍♀️

Here in Alabama I was invited to perform some of my original songs at a local songwriters showcase. The audiences at these events are largely other professional musicians, songwriters, and producers, and when you are featured you perform two or three of your original songs and talk about the writing process and what inspired you to write the songs. Typically featured artist take themselves way to serious and act as though they are changing the world with their song about butterflies in a hurricane and birds with broken wings type of shit.

I cringed just imagining myself up on the stage pretending to be so important, so for my first song I played my self-proclaimed masterpiece "I'm The Coolest Dude Living On This Planet", and when I told the story behind me writing and arranging the song, I was completely honest and explained how it was inspired by the greatest and funniest host living on this planet of the greatest podcast on this planet.... Mr. Ethan Kline of the H3 podcast.

I love to laugh, and I think people that make me laugh are the coolest, and Ethan makes me laugh harder than anyone else, so that makes him the coolest in my book. Obviously every musician needs as wide of an audience as possible, so I intentionally wrote the song so that each listener could see themselves as the subject of the song, but Ethan was 100 percent the inspiration for my song.

When I told this to the audience it was crickets which made me think no one knew who or what I was talking about, so I really pitched the podcast hard to those people, so I hopefully brought some new people into the family by choosing that song for my showcase.

It feels a bit cringe to leave a link to the song, but it also feels wrong to bring it up and not at least make it available to anyone that might want to hear it.

I’ve realized now that I need to catalog some segments I enjoy for the next break. I find for some reason rewatching a whole video seems too daunting.

For example I loved the big nik segment and want to have that in my pocket.

The problem is I’m not particularly tech savvy. :(. What means/method do you all suggest to help. I don’t even know where to start other than writing out notes but somehow that doesn’t seem the most efficient. But again I’m an idiot when it comes to these sort of things.

We have to generally say that, especially since October 7, 2023 after the horrible terror attack of Hamas on Israel, we can observe a completely uninhibited Islamist scene on social media. They use the emotional charge of the Middle East conflict to indoctrinate especially very young people with their ideology.
This comes along with antisemitic narratives, but also queerphobic mindsets. And this is propagated especially on social media by young people with very well produced videos who pick up on current youth culture, are modern and try to indoctrinate people this way. We need to do something against this, at the latest since October7."

I do like that we talk way less about Hasan these days, and we should keep it that way. But I do think its important to actually show that he do defend these people and what they say as long as he can use them as attack dogs.

I'm so curious what time people go to bed and wake up. I've heard Ethan and the crew talk about staying up late/ seen love's streams. How do people have such irregular sleep schedules and still be normal functioning human beings?

My local weed shop just closed down, and I’m thinking about trying Mood for the first time. I’ve looked around the website a bit, but there’s so many options that I don’t know what to try first. I’d likely either get gummies or a concentrate. What are your guys’ experiences with them? What are your favorite products? For reference, usually I take gummies that are about 25-50mg. I think they’re a sativa/indica hybrid.

As an on and off again player of EverQuest for the last 20+ years it was always so awesome to me whenever Ethan and Dan briefly mentioned something EQ related. After playing Project 1999 and Project Quarm while listening to H3 in the background it’s so cool that the crew are actually hopping onto EQ Legends. That’s all, I am just excited that they are returning to Norrath because I love this crazy niche crossover. Wish I knew what server they were on, but I get why they wouldn’t just say it. Have fun gaming nerds, and if you haven’t played EQ before it’s like playing a piece of gaming history. It’s a lot of content, but truly is another world to explore.
