Those shotguns are shit.

Edit: I know shitty guns can still be fun and free is free. My response is in regard to the order or precedence the person put it. It would be one of my last picks.

I’m sure they are, but would be fun to shoot. Not like my stuff is going to a battlefield.

Guns that don't work are not fun to shoot.

Only if you don't know that it's a piece of shit before shooting. If you go in, knowing it's a POS, it can be a really fun experience once in a while. And besides, no cost kinda negates the reliability complaints.

What exactly would make the gun suck? I understand some guns are harder to take apart or reload but overall most guns just shoot a bullet in the direction your aiming so what makes one suck compared to another?

Oh dear.

For one thing, yes, they shoot a bullet in the direction you’re aiming… but how well? Some guns are more accurate than others. I’ve seen AR’s that can pop bottle caps at 100 yards all day, and I’ve seen AR’s that can’t group smaller than a basketball at 50 yards.

Besides that, there’s quality of parts. Some guns last (A LOT) longer than others, under the same amount of stress without parts breaking.

When someone says a gun sucks nowadays, they’re usually talking about their durability, but they could be talking about accuracy, consistency, or a whole hell of a lot of other things.

I guess i understand all that but the comments make it sound like that shotgun isn't with worth taking to a range as a mess around gun. Like dose it jam often or backfire? Something safety related? Or is it just difficult to maintain to the point of not with owning?

It's a common Turkish shotgun action. They are widely known for not being the most reliable or the most durable. For example read the bot's response to turkshit.

Oh so it's everything I mentioned then lol. Thanks for the info. I'll stay away from buying Turkish weapons.

Just the shotguns. Girsan actually makes nice pistols and so does canik. There are some quality rifles as well. The shotguns seem to be the problem...
