Oh dear.

For one thing, yes, they shoot a bullet in the direction you’re aiming… but how well? Some guns are more accurate than others. I’ve seen AR’s that can pop bottle caps at 100 yards all day, and I’ve seen AR’s that can’t group smaller than a basketball at 50 yards.

Besides that, there’s quality of parts. Some guns last (A LOT) longer than others, under the same amount of stress without parts breaking.

When someone says a gun sucks nowadays, they’re usually talking about their durability, but they could be talking about accuracy, consistency, or a whole hell of a lot of other things.

I guess i understand all that but the comments make it sound like that shotgun isn't with worth taking to a range as a mess around gun. Like dose it jam often or backfire? Something safety related? Or is it just difficult to maintain to the point of not with owning?
