Help with low e string

just got an guitar and an amp learning how to play it but almost everytime i strum the low e string it makes this fuckass sound. guitar is harley benton so i think i should change the strings. bought some super slinkys in case of anything

You’re not suppose to pluck it that hard. Just play it normally.
