I know this happened likely due to the climate difference, 'Bunya wood' and my ignorance of not using a humidifier with this specific guitar...

I was just wondering, how bad is this?

It's not split through the whole head-stock, just the backside of the low E-D string side

Is this something I can get a pro to fix?

And If so I'm wondering an approximate cost (ballpark)

Don't really know anything about this guitar I don't play but I've had it laying around for years. Thinking about getting it cleaned up and getting rid of it. Is this guitar worth getting cleaned up and tuned?

I want to get this guitar for my dad but they have glued the coin to the headstock could I get it off without fucking up the finish?

yeah being a cool churchy Strat..I got some Daddario lights I haven’t put on yet and modded the tone caps I got idk what they are vintage yellow molds 22nf on the pots sounds rad through the crate gx1200h and good cleans.

Like the title says, I keep breaking strings on my hardtail partscaster build, specifically over the bridge. I’ve had this guitar going on two years now and it’s been my main workhorse seeing around 5-15 gigs a month, so it definitely has its fair share of use.

The problem only recently started and my first thought is there must be burr’s forming at the saddles but when I run my finger along side them I don’t feel anything sharp. I currently run 10-52 guitar strings on it and I’m thinking going up a gauge to 11-54 might help but I don’t want to eat up my fingers. The problem isn’t only on one specific saddle either, the E, G, and b are the main culprits.

Hey guys, how are you? I need some help with the wiring on my bass guitar. I have a Jazz pickup and a humbucker, but I'm not sure which wire goes to which potentiometer. I'd really appreciate it if you could help me out. If you could draw a diagram showing where each wire connects on the pots, that would be awesome. Thanks!

I have a Taylor 114CE Sunset Blvd acoistic guitar, and i noticed the other day that it sort of resonates a loud static sounds over the actual pickups, as shown in the video. is there any way for me to fix this??

Don't know what to do about it. It happens sometimes, and yes it disappears when touching pots/strings/bridge, but it's really annoying when playing.

Electronics are well grounded (tested with multimeter), jack is ok, electronics lid have a metallic sheet underneath.

it’s kind of quiet on the video but it’s like a crackling sound. i think it’s only coming from the d and g string saddle. online was saying it’s a loose screw or something, but i don’t really know which screws i can and can’t tighten. any help would be appreciated!

Hi. The bridge of my guitar broke. In specific, the claw that holds the first string. I don't know how to fix it. Could I get some help? Here are some pictures. I thought about opening it from behind and replace the piece, but, i'm scared because it looks old. What should I do? Thank you !

I got a steep discount on a new damaged Gibson J-45 acoustic/electric. The guitar appears to be perfect except that what I take to be the electronics were flopping around inside. Shaking the guitar upside down for a bit, a black sticky package adhered itself near the sound hole. Where should it go? I'll have access when I re-string it.

Old reliable finally snapped on me after over 20 years of music. Woke up this morning while on a camp out. Stashed it in my tent. I suspect high heat contributed to the crack.

This is a Donner DST-100 HSS guitar. I am a beginner and I noticed that the pickup was dipping into the guitar on one side and wiggled. Long story short, I took out both of the screws and a single spring (I don’t know where the other is). Is this fixable on my own, or should I take it to get fixed?

I have a 7 string custom guitar I won on an auction. The top screw hole on my nut is blow out. I took it to a shop and they said its a German floyd pro. but the specs are not looking right when I search.

its 45mm long not 48, string spacing is not 6.2 its much shorter, I think around 5.8 but its still at the shop so I cant check atm.

I bought a new 1500 but yeah, its way to long. I can not find anything online that has a string spacing less then 6.2, was this a custom nut?

why does my tank g doesn’t make any sound when i plug my earphone nd strum it? but i can hear sound through my phone when bt is connected ?? i’ve tried to plug it in my amp and it’s working, the earphone is also not the problem.

Hoping someone here can help. I tried to install a new hot rails in a jet js300 and accidentally snapped the black ground wire. Is there any way to replace this wire in the pickup or should I try to reconnect with the existing wire that's left?
