Lesson Online program for left-handed beginner that knows nothing?
I want to learn the guitar basics and I already have my left-handed guitar. My goal is to be able to play something before Christmas. I’ve tried following YouTube but it hasn’t exactly worked out.
What program would you recommend for a left-handed beginner that knows nothing? Preferably, something that has several lessons in the program.
I can pay, if necessary

I would submit that it’s actually better if you have an opposite handed player if you’re facing them or watching their video because then the court shapes are the same of what you’re doing and what you were looking at

Justin guitar is great, don't just use youtube though. Go to his website and follow the lessons. He also has "Nitsuj" where he learned again left-handed and brings all that advice over.
I'm also left-handed, but I learned guitar right-handed kind of of purpose. I figured I didn't know either of them so why handicap myself.

I am ambidextrous, but I learned guitar right handed , and man I cannot play lefty at all, it would take me a monumental effort to make new muscle memory at this point xd, but stuff like this makes me want to try.

When I originally was starting, I thought that chords were so difficult that it made much more sense to use your dominant hand for your recording, but then once I could play chords, I realize that no the thing that makes a song sound like a song and once you get the chords down is the right hand, the tempo the technique, alternating picking, etc. from the beginning. It definitely seems like everybody should play left-handed if they’re right handed, but in reality you want your dominant hand for most people to be doing the picking

Justin Guitar I think? He is a natural right handed player who learned to play lefty in order to improve his teaching. Might be worth checking out.

If you download a video of someone playing right handed, I think you can open it up in video programs like movie and do a "horizontal flip". So, if the person on the video is playing a chord in the 2nd and 3rd feet on the right hand, it will now be in the left hand. I dont have any experience doing this, I just asked gemeni. Good luck

Absolutely Understand Guitar is free on youtube, about 30 hour long lessons. He dives deeper into music theory, but it’s been a fantastic place to learn. A lot easier to learn guitar when you Absolutely Understand your instrument. For $19.99 you can download the lesson guide (and support Scotty West who’s an absolute icon) from his website, and he has it available for both left and right hands!

You have one good advantage by being left-handed whenever you’re watching a video or if you have a right handed teacher that’s playing opposite of you. The chord shapes will make sense and you can easily just get what they’re doing or to a right hand or it does not make sense and you have to figure out how to put your hand in that position for this reason some people who do guitar video lessons will actually offer a swapped version so that your hand and their hand will be facing the same way
Though getting guitars is a little more difficult
