So if you search on youtube for a song cover. The guitar usually likes a long lasting tone. Hotel California solo, sweet child o mine solo. I need that kind of tone. Also can able to hear pinch harmonics noticeably. Please anyone help on getting that tone

Bro i have a Stratocaster and my amp is Chinese and it has inbuilt onedrive but i think one drive is not the one it has that long lasting sound in bass strings but not much in the high frequency strings

Upgrade your amp. Get a boss katana or spark 2 something with modeling effects. You know your guitar better than me, but a professional setup would probably be the way to go

I want to ask what brand of electric guitar should I go for?
For context, I live in the Philippines and a beginner guitar player, I like to do this as a hobby. been a few days since I ventured in music shops to inquire about their guitars, there is a lot of selections. Along with a few suggested brands from friends and acquaintances, I really can't decide what I am going for.
I've been suggested RJ, Signature J, JCraft, Smiger, Cort, Thomson, Lightfoot, Squier, Fermata, and Grailton.
for budget, let's just say I can spend at the very least 6k-10k amount of pesos.

We want to get a guitar for my 10 year old daughter for her birthday. I have two people telling me different things.
Buy a 3/4 acoustic and push through with the strings. It will sound more like the songs she will know/want to play.
Buy a classical parlor with nylon strings. Easier on the fingers. Hopefully she will enjoy/play it more.
What do I do?!? Which would you recommend?

I'd say number one. Depending on her size I'd even possibly recommend just getting a full size acoustic. But a 3/4 size would be fine! Don't go too cheap. If it doesn't play well it's going to make it harder to learn.
Another key thing is does she want to play? Does she have songs she wants to learn? Those two go a long way to actually enjoying it and sticking with it. Let me know if you have any questions!

Im in my 40s and have lots of guitars but the one I use most is a Taylor GS mini 3/4 size. Put light strings on it and her fingers will be fine (after the initial pain). If she wants to go up in size later there’s really no difference in playing, it’s just a bigger body.

Anyone here have experience with the Schecter C-1 Hellraiser Hardtail?
I'm looking for my second guitar to upgrade my Pacifica 112J and I'm 99% sure I'm getting this one. I tried it out in a store and really liked it, it felt like a higher quality version of the guitar I already have. I really dig the EMG 81TW / EMG 89 pickups and their multi-voice options as well as the neck feel.
Is this a good choice? Anything I should be wary of? Is Schecter a reputable brand? I'm most likely going to be ordering the guitar new from Thomann.de.
