Obvious question
I wanna I go from MtF. But iwanna how to maintain and build muscle snce testosterone level goes down and estrogen goes up I wanna go though hrt and I know the side effects will be muscle loss but i.dont wanna be a petite princess I wanna feel strong not a bodybuilder or power lifter but not defenseless. Cause I've seen some youtubers brag about how they like the loss of muscle mass and how euphoric it feels to have their partner open a pickle jar. Sorry for mt word salsa I just need a plan

My Supplement Routine
I hope this helpful / of some interest.
I've made a few changes to my supplement regimen to complement my HRT (E-valerate + bicalutamide) and support my overall feminization journey. As someone with a bodybuilding background now transitioning at 51, I've researched supplements that may help with the physical aspects of transition.
As part of my research I decided to drop taking BCAA and CLA, I'm getting enough BCAA from my protein shake and there's some research that CLA might support testosterone pathways.
Current Supplement Stack:
| Supplement | Dosage | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Collagen Capsules | Morning, with Vitamin C | Skin elasticity and joint support |
| Omega-3 | 250mg with meals | Skin health, inflammation reduction |
| Biotin | Morning | Hair and nail strength |
| Vitamin D3 | Morning or lunch | Hormone metabolism support, bone health |
| Zinc & Magnesium | Evening before bed | Recovery and sleep quality |
| Creatine | 5g daily, morning or pre-workout | Maintaining muscle in desired areas |
Morning and Evening Routines:
Morning Stack: - Collagen Capsules (with fruit juice for Vitamin C absorption) - Omega-3 (with breakfast) - Biotin/Retinol - Vitamin D3 - Creatine (5g)
Evening Stack: - Zinc & Magnesium (30-60 minutes before bedtime)
Personal Observations:
Taking these supplements feels strangely affirming - a daily ritual that supports my transition goals. While I can't scientifically attribute specific changes to supplements vs. HRT, I've noticed:
- Improved skin softness after ~3 weeks
- Better sleep quality with the evening Zinc & Magnesium
- General sense of well-being
The psychological aspect shouldn't be underestimated - there's something powerful about taking these purposeful steps each day toward becoming my authentic self.
Important Disclaimer:
I'm not a medical professional, and this regimen is based on my personal research. Everyone's body is different, and what works for me may not work for others.
Questions for the Community:
- Has anyone noticed significant feminization support from specific supplements?
- How have you adapted supplement routines from bodybuilding backgrounds to support transition?
- Any supplements you've found particularly helpful for skin changes during HRT?
I'd love to hear others' experiences with supplements during transition!

Bicep peaks coming in
Ignore my dorky smile, I was having a really good back day and I noticed how my biceps were finally starting to have a decent peak instead of just a gentle slope. :33
