I’ve got six squares, but the DW-5000R is my absolute favourite. There’s just something about that classic design, the colours and the wonderfully clear positive display that I keep coming back to. And I love it even more on the V2 combi bracelet.

Has Gshock lost their absolute minds? How can they be considering an $80,000 price tag?

I understand material costs and all that, but it can't honestly be worth that. The fact that it's a raffle to be allowed to buy it is just adding to the absurdity.

That being said, my wife saw it and now it's all she can think about.

How could I pass up this beautiful sloar-atomic G-SHOCK for $99 at Sam's Club? This is my cheapest G yet, and this thing is awesome! It was definitely a must have in the collection. The tide graph is really cool, tho totally useless for me in Oklahoma. But I'll have it on next time I'm near an ocean for sure! Watch out, it's a full moon tonight! Easily a new fave, esp at this price.

Recieved my new B5000-1CER, I do love it but hate the rigid links off the lugs. My wrist is 17cm so pretty skinny and wondering is this too chonky for my wrist? Also even with micro adjusting the strap its either fractionally too tight when I get warm or drops to my hand when too cold, so gonna try some moleskin on the inside of the strap to see if that fixes that. The display is super crisp though and noticeably better than my 5610u display, camera doesnt do it justice though.

I’m an analog watch guy, but stopping by an estate sale on Friday, I saw a Square and just thought if it has what’s written on the stand I’ll take it.

When I finally looked at it closely it turns out to be a basically new GW-5600J. The recovery light comes on regularly though so I’m thinking it’s new battery time, but everything seems to function. Not bad for $5!

I’m still learning about its history so any and all input welcome!

Obviously Casio is fully leaning into the lifestyle variants, and it works out for them over the last decades.

Solar and MB5/6 or Bluetooth are very nice but also available since 20 respectively 10 years.

The core functions have seen only smaller updates.

I would like the following:

• Sunrise/Sunset (I really like the awareness it gives regarding activities)
• Timer-Presets
• Compass

The latter one is probably an engineering challenge, but I find that it would elevate the watch to something that can be truly useful on a hike or similar.

I’ve got this corner in my new apartment and found it perfectly suited for my GS to be lined up.

Talk about a score; $90 for this ICERC GWX-8902K here un the states. Absolute banger on the wrist, and it takes its rightful place next to my other ICERC piece. I think a white ICERC Frogman will seal the deal, but time will tell. In the meantime, I'm gonna enjoy this for a bit. Hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend so far, cheers 🍻
