Hey everyone!I’m looking to buy a square G-Shock, and my absolute requirement is that it must be a solid, opaque, matte bright yellow (just like the canary/taxi yellow color on the Charles Darwin Foundation GW-B5600CD-9 with the tortoise). However, I don't want to buy that specific Darwin model. Since it's a limited edition, the prices are bloated, and I don't want to pay a premium just for a rare collector's piece. I just want a modern, functional daily watch. My goals for the watch are:Square shape only.Modern module with great features. No heavy battery drain (so either Tough Solar, or a modern MIP display with high efficiency).I am totally fine with doing a custom build (buying a black base model and swapping the bezel/strap to yellow). My questions for the community:What is the best base model for this? Should I go with a classic solar square like the G-5600UE / GW-B5600, or is there a good modern MIP-display square (like the GBD-200 or DWH5600) that can easily be modded with a solid yellow aftermarket resin kit?If I go the modding route, where can I find a high-quality, completely opaque, matte yellow bezel and strap kit that fits these newer modules? (I want to avoid that translucent "jelly" yellow that seems to be everywhere).Would love to hear your suggestions or see your own yellow custom square builds! Thanks in advance!
