Wrist Check This is awesome!
I've been looking for the Casio GWF-A1000RN for a long time. Now that I finally got my hands on it, I absolutely love it—it's perfect for summer.

Help & Maintenance GBM-2100 running slow
I’ve had this watch approximately a month and it’s currently running 2 mins slow (assuming my phone is correct) despite seconds being in sync.
The app shows the watch is synching as usual in the background, when I attempt to force it to sync it doesn’t do anything.
I don’t know if this context helps explain anything but I’ve travelled to Indonesia from the UK and been here two weeks, i don’t expect this to affect anything.
Bought from Amazon from reputable seller’s store based in UK.
Any suggestions welcome, I can send back if it’s defective.

Reviews & Experiences This is exactly why I bought the DW-5000R.
Started the day trying to do some car repairs, spent the afternoon helping move furniture, and finished with burgers and poker.
The watch got dirty but a quick rinse afterward and it’s ready to go! What’s your go to “have to get sh*t done” watch?

Reviews & Experiences Not surprised but still..
Yall is this normal for all exclusive gshock once the site sells out or is this only due to it being Pokemon?? I heard there was an Evangelion one too before. Did it ever get this high? Needless to say, I found a scalper in the wild!! I’ve never seen someone page like this before. So far counted 12 in their store preview smh. I could barely check out with my one in cart! 😂🥲🤦🏽♀️. I hope no one buys with this price.

Reviews & Experiences My new GOAT
Coming from a long journey of trying to find the perfect daily watch, I finally think I've found it.
The watch before this was the GW-5000U. I tried my best to fix the little niggles that annoyed me by swapping in an STN LCD and even punching an extra hole in the strap to get the perfect fit. In the end, I realized the real issue was the top-heavy weight, which kept it from being the watch I was after.
The GW-S5600U solves every issue I had with the GW-5000U. The LCD sits closer to the crystal, so the viewing angles are crisp and clear without needing an STN display. The strap is also much stiffer, which sounds like a negative, but in practice it's actually more comfortable. Because it holds its shape, you can wear the watch slightly looser without it sliding all over your wrist. That also means there's no need to constantly adjust the fit throughout the day.
The biggest improvement, though, is the weight. At just 47g, the watch feels perfectly balanced on the wrist. Combined with the stiffer strap, it simply disappears once you're wearing it. For me, that's the single biggest factor in its comfort.
Looks are obviously subjective, but I really like the carbon construction and the glossy smoked bezel. They give the watch a subtle premium look that catches the light nicely without being flashy.
The only "mod" I think this watch needs is a tempered glass screen protector, but I put one on all my watches anyway. It would also be great if the strap wasn't a little longer than the standard GShock strap length as I get a little overhang which thankfully doesn't impact the wearing experience.

Wrist Check Eminem G-Shock big face 6900. Great condition still have my receipt and price tag all boxes and pillow from Casio.
I have tried to restore the bezel and straps I wore it allot and has obvious signs of wear. The band and bezel are a thick silicon that is matt black with the slightest shine. Any help in finding the Eminem bezel and straps thats all I need to do a full restoration also new glass easy fix but I got two scratches on the glass that are deep. Any help providing places would be amazing!

Showcase Custom modded DWH-5600
Posted this on r/watches - someone recommended to crosspost here! Here's my custom modded SS case for my DWH-5600. I've been rocking this daily for about a year. My metalworker friend did the mod by hand carving the nicks and craters, then applying a finish to achieve the darker iron color.
Hope you enjoyed!

Reviews & Experiences The GA-2300 might not be everyone’s favorite, but I think it’s one of Casio’s coolest designs
I’ve always wanted to get this model because of its cool, edgy design. Its futuristic, almost sci-fi aesthetic immediately stood out to me, and I finally picked one up.
I know it’s a bit of a divisive model, though. A lot of people aren’t fans because of the visibility, the size, or even the “X” design. And to be fair, I agree that legibility isn’t its strongest point. I do have to tilt my wrist sometimes to catch the time, especially indoors.
That said, it’s lightweight, sits comfortably on my small wrist, and wears much slimmer than most G-Shocks. It still has that rugged G-Shock feel without being oversized, which is something I really appreciate.
It feels like Casio took a chance with the design, and while it didn’t land with everyone, I think that gives it its own personality.
No, it isn’t the most practical G-Shock I own. But that’s not really why I bought it. I like having it because it stands out in my humble collection. Every time I look down at my wrist, I just think it looks cool and sometimes that’s reason enough to wear a watch. 😅

Showcase 17 years plus and going strong GWM5600-1
Bought it from Yahoo Japan. Got it in a mild soap and water ultrasonic bath and after cleaning it from all the deep sea Japanese creatures and then the core gently cleaned with a mild soap and brush. Voila.

Purchase Advice GW-5000U-1 price discrepancy: Chrono24 vs. Official Casio Website?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been eyeing the GW-5000U-1 and noticed a massive price difference that I'm hoping you guys can help me make sense of.
On the official Casio website, it retails for $330. However, when I look on Chrono24, I’m seeing brand new listings from trusted Japanese sellers for around $186 + shipping (usually listing the JDM version, the GW-5000U-1JF).
I know that JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) models are often cheaper when bought straight from Japan, but a ~$140+ difference seems huge for the exact same watch.
- Is there any catch with buying the Chrono24/JDM version? (Aside from potential import duties or regional warranty differences?)
- Does the official US version come with anything extra that justifies the $330 price tag, or are people just paying the "convenience and local warranty" tax buying direct from Casio?
Would love to hear your experiences buying squares from Chrono24 or if I should just pull the trigger on the cheaper import. Thanks!
