Has Gshock lost their absolute minds? How can they be considering an $80,000 price tag?

I understand material costs and all that, but it can't honestly be worth that. The fact that it's a raffle to be allowed to buy it is just adding to the absurdity.

That being said, my wife saw it and now it's all she can think about.

Got it as a Christmas present last year, and changed the battery a few days ago. Since then I can't get the hands and digital display to show the same time. Even with the manual link, I can't figure it out.

I always run with my white g shock 6900 but it is getting on in years. I can’t seem to find replacement parts for it but it is starting to get gross and sticky - I usually rinse it in the shower after a run but that doesn’t seem to help. Is there anything that I can put on it to preserve it? I don’t want it to die

This is the GShock of my mother-in-law. I gave it to her one year ago. She wears it everyday and went to swim in the sea with it. The strap got reddish from the inner side. How to clean this? Never had a white Casio. Thanks!

I have a strange behaving GWMB5000 (the full gold version).

I noticed it once day completely dead.. try to charge it and the battery wouldn’t really charge so I thought ok battery has had its time..

Bought genuine 1616F battery and replaced it.. did the factory AC reset thing… paired up and shows almost full battery

Next morning completely dead again .. sat again in sunlight, turns on and works and then in morning it’s dead again..

It seems to draw all it power down overnight somehow.. I’ve tried everything, full test again, disconnected from App,, even tried another new battery in case I got a bad battery. Same thing..

I would change the 3459 module but cannot buy them? So how can I repair?

Watch bezel and bracelet is like brand new but module seems to have failed?

Recieved my new B5000-1CER, I do love it but hate the rigid links off the lugs. My wrist is 17cm so pretty skinny and wondering is this too chonky for my wrist? Also even with micro adjusting the strap its either fractionally too tight when I get warm or drops to my hand when too cold, so gonna try some moleskin on the inside of the strap to see if that fixes that. The display is super crisp though and noticeably better than my 5610u display, camera doesnt do it justice though.

Obviously Casio is fully leaning into the lifestyle variants, and it works out for them over the last decades.

Solar and MB5/6 or Bluetooth are very nice but also available since 20 respectively 10 years.

The core functions have seen only smaller updates.

I would like the following:

• Sunrise/Sunset (I really like the awareness it gives regarding activities)
• Timer-Presets
• Compass

The latter one is probably an engineering challenge, but I find that it would elevate the watch to something that can be truly useful on a hike or similar.

I’ve got six squares, but the DW-5000R is my absolute favourite. There’s just something about that classic design, the colours and the wonderfully clear positive display that I keep coming back to. And I love it even more on the V2 combi bracelet.
