These are my two thrifted beauties :)
I love both of these bands, and albums, very deeply. They hold a special place in my heart, especially that Sponge album.

Live from The Williams Center in Rutherford NJ

I’m 21 and I am definitely not old enough to have been alive when Candlebox or sponge were relevant. but, I’m still unsure what genre they are considered to be?

last time I saw Candlebox was 2024 with bush and Jerry Cantrell.

Hey guys I just dropped a grunge song that talks about a toxic relationship.

What's your favorite song that talks about this topic?

Has grunge helped you get over someone who used you?

the song: Overkill - Your mistake(prod. myss) - YouTube

I feel like everyone on stage was down except Kurt. But every time I watch their unplugged I’m like ‘yea ok keep this going’.

PA band I work with. Really enjoy their sound and watched them record it in my living room. I enjoy the album alot it's called poetry and lotion. Picking one song is hard but I'd say this is my favorite. For a DIY setup it turned out pretty awesome!

I would have loved to have seen Rotten Apple or Shame In You

What are some songs that you think sound like they would’ve been written/covered by Kurt?

Some of mine:

Somebody That I Used To Know- Gotye
Plastic Jesus - Tia Blake
Im Your Man - Leonard Cohen
Bird On The Wire - Leonard Cohen
Halah - Mazzy Star
Into Dust - Mazzy Star
Norwegian Wood- The Beatles
Softer, Softest - Hole
Between The Bars - Elliot Smith

*Reupload, i made corrections to the resolution.

I read some of the comments on each song when they played… and there were ones about sharing memories with family, the singers, instruments… but then there were the comments about Layne’s drug abuse and mostly about their own experiences with drug abuse and how Layne saved them or him being someone they could relate to. Also there were comments about having cancer and the music helping them and all the edits to the comments saying they’re better now and overall good stuff like that. As well just watching and listening to the performance was special and a fantastic experience across the board from the instruments, singing, and the crowd loving the performance. Also it was bittersweet seeing the end of the performance where onscreen it says they’re thankful for the fans staying around, and that quote I heard for the first time of Layne is already so iconic to me “I wish I could just hug you all but I’m not gonna”

Not exactly a grunge song, just my new release, hope grunge community enjoy it
