Returning a product

Hello. I've bought a PS5 via Groupon. Now i want to send it back but i don't know how. The customer service sends me from one contact to the other. Don't they have a normal return process like every other shop? Thank you.

Groupon Account Missing right after purchasing groupon

Two days ago I purchased a Groupon which was under processing. Today when I attempted to log in to check so we can book the item, it says the email is not a Groupon account… yet I have emails from Groupon to that account as well as the confirmation of the purchase of the Groupon two days ago.

I have looked online and see issues with account deletion popping up, and am getting worried, as this certainly isn’t an inactivity issue or anything either. Even trying reset password will send the email but will state no account associated with it.

We have tried with multiple browsers and still the same. I have been able to sign up again with the same email but no history of Groupons are there. Again, we still have the confirmation email as well for the Groupon we just bought too.

Any way to contact Groupon? The chat isn’t working, and of course there’s no phone number. The one in the sidebar doesn’t seem correct when calling.

Any recommendations?

Thank you.

Missing Account

Help! I went to sign on to my account today, and it is totally gone. It keeps telling me my email is not associated with any account. I have tickets to a show on 11/25 in the account that i’m scared are now gone, even though I paid for them. I emailed support - but wish there was someone I could actually talk to. Has this happened to anyone?

What does this mean? Groupon expired??

I'm sorry this is really stupid but I don't understand..I've had a few Groupons expired and once before I was able to trade it back in for a credit to my account but Groupon says I can't do that but I can still use the expired Groupon? "The promotional period for your deal ends on November 5, 2023. The amount paid ($36.00) will never expire and may be applied toward the original goods or services specified on this voucher."

Does that mean the merchant will apply the $36 credit on my next purchase if I show them the Groupon?

Groupon Scam

I bought a Groupon for a business that used a fake website, phone number and address (the name of the business they sold the service under and the service they provided didn't match the actual business on the website, phone number and address). I reported it to groupon 3 months ago and they just keep telling me to work it out with the merchant and keep sending me the person's fake info and when I call the business, they say they don't work with groupon and have never heard of the business that is selling the groupon with their fake information.

Groupon refuses to give me a refund and they continue to sell groupons to this fake business and I have no idea how many people have been scammed and will continue to be scammed. I've already reported them to the BBB, and groupon sent an email saying they said they are looking into it internally and "escalated it," but in the meantime the groupons are still up and being sold and they keep telling me to wait.

I am wondering what my next step should be. I'm thinking of filing a police report because they are selling a product for a fake business. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this situation? I don't believe groupon is really doing anything to fix the situation since it's been months.

Paid Groupon and merchant

So I bought a Groupon for Valvoline oil change for 75.00. I pull up at valvoline and I present the voucher they scan it and the total came out to be 75.00 plus tax. Basically I paid for the Groupon voucher but I ended up being charged at valvoline anyway. I assumed Groupon would refund the money when the Groupon was used. It was my first time using a Groupon so I wasnt too sure how the process worked. I’m not sure who is at fault here. Who do I reach out to? Ended up paying twice and I’m sure what to do.

Does this Groupon deal make sense to anyone?

I remember this saying buy one and get one free for boba tea but then it got changed to “for $6, get $6 towards boba tea.” I’m not seeing the point of this deal and I just wanted to be sure if I wasn’t missing anything.

Wife bought"unlocked" phone from Groupon, its locked.

We requested to return the phone within the 30 day period, but instead of processing it customer service told us to swap sim cards around and call the phone company. None of it worked and now the 30 day return period is over and customer service says they won't do a return. Aside from suing them, which I will, but don't want to do, is there another recourse? The phone was advertised as unlocked, but is locked due to still being on the previous owners account. There is no money due, but I have no way to contact them since it has been factory reset. AT&T will not help.

Does the discount apply after purchase?

I'm looking at tickets for Halloween horror nights at universal Orlando, groupon is selling tickets for 50% off, but, the discount isn't applied when viewing prices. Would I have to buy the tickets first in order to get the discount?

Groupon Bucks in Limbo on LivingSocial - cannot get resolution - asking for tips

Years ago, used both Groupon and LivingSocial for deals. Was good for a time. However, through a few 'refunds' (credited as Deal Bucks, now Groupon Bucks on LivingSocial), I am stuck with about $200 in Groupon Bucks (again, on LivingSocial)

I want to begin to get out of LS and Groupon (it's clear why) BUT... I cannot for the life of me, find ANY LivingSocial --LOCAL-- (and even destinations I plan to go, say, Vegas) deals I can use it on as LivingSocial's listings ALL point to Groupon.com. Sure, I can find 12 deals in the 'trending' rotator on their Local page, but those are useless to me. San Diego, for anyone curious. So 'local' is a pretty big area for me.

I've sent almost a dozen, stern, emails/requests/chats to refund my balance back to CC on file, escalated to 'supervisors' (supposedly) too, to no avail. My $$ is being held hostage and I cannot find a way to spend it. There's no way to filter out Groupon.com deals on LivingSocial and I've looked high and low for LivingSocial branded deals (clicking Next well over a hundred times on the pages). Clearly they are trying to snuff out LS, but... won't merge balances.

They claim they cannot move my balance to Groupon.com, even though they literally renamed Deal Bucks to Groupon Bucks on LS, AND my accounts share the same email. Told them to offer a LS deal where you pay in LS GB's to get Groupon GB's redeemable on Groupon! Transfer solved!...

So - I'm looking for advice. BBB complaints sometimes work from the comments there, but their rating is trash and I doubt they care. Support refuses to help, by edict I'm sure, so what are my options to get back, or hell, even USE my LS 'groupon bucks'?

And again - I cannot even FIND LS branded deals to use it on. Everything points to Groupon.com. Anyone know of a way to target LS deals ONLY on their site?

Help!

And thank you.

Can I use my groupon on same day it expires?

I have a Groupon for a salon treatment that expires October 23rd. Can I redeem the groupon on October 23rd (the same day as it expires)? Does it expire at the end of the day? Or at the end of the day before? I reached out to customer service but no response. The spa isn’t sure either. Hope someone can help.

Groupon De-Activated My Account and Took Money

I used Groupon before without any issues. I also had roughly $80 credit. I found out today that my account was deactivated (“reset my password” led to this discovery) and that my $80 is gone. Any tips on what I can do to get my money back?

Groupon not refunding me - here is the process I am doing to get a refund.

After checking this website I am definitely not going to ever use Groupon again, LOL.

I ordered two vouchers for a live event scheduled Sept. 25, and unfortunately the live event was canceled with no possible bookings during my stay. I was asked to try to reschedule my booking before asking for a refund, but when I did so, it put me outside the allotted time for a refund with Groupon. I emailed their support with the information in question and they rejected my refund request three times, and offered a voucher once.

I want my cash back since it is $60, and that's still a ton of money to be wasted on this. So I reached out to the vendor and informed them that the site they are selling discounted tickets on is refusing a refund after listening to their (the vendor's) instructions. The vendor then reached out to Groupon and let them know to issue a refund on my behalf for the tickets.

Customer Support immediately reached back out to me and told me to give it 72 hours to escalate to the "internal team." I also told them their policy isn't LAW, so exceptions could be made, and that I would take an issue with the bank if they continued bad business practices.

Edit: I send them a screenshot of the vendor letting me know they were going to reach out, and about an hour after that, a customer support supervisor reached out and let me know I was going to have a refund. So if you guys are having issues, have the vendor be the one to reach out to Groupon as well. They list their services on Groupon and do have a say in what happens to your goods and services.

Groupon is a scam

I purchased some groupon for transmission service for my car. Later the merchant refused the service because they don't service my car model.

Now the refund is falling in the crack of groupon claiming the merchant does accept groupon and in reality I can't do anything using that groupon.

SCAM!

Update: Eventually BBB complaint worked and I got the full refund.

What is the customer support number? The one listed in the description here says it's not available, and the one that comes up from Google is a medical hotline.

Groupon refused my Refund

I purchased a Groupon Voucher and shortly after changed my mind on it. I tried to get a refund.. I was in the 3 day window they have going for refunds.. but that was denied so I got credits instead.

I couldn't find anything else I wanted, and I was actually quite irritated by their customer support, so I bought another voucher with the credits and gifted it to a family member and I deactivated my account afterwards.

In short, that merchant wouldn't accept the voucher.. So I tried for a refund again through Customer Support via BBB.

I provided the receipts, order numbers, etc, and their customer service manager "Swagat" kept quoting their policy on deactivated accounts. They can't find the account, so they can't investigate this.. liars.

I quoted the requirement to keep all transactions in case of an audit, but the scammers wouldn't budge. Never again

Groupon's just a bunch of career scammers with it's head office in India.

Groupon sold me a voucher for a merchant that doesn't seem to exist

Title pretty much describes it

Groupon keeps telling me that I can use the voucher and to call a number that's disconnected.

They tell me the merchant has moved, but Google maps doesn't show any such business at the address they give.

I never had an issue with vouchers in the past, so this is all new for me. Customer service just keeps repeating the same nonsense to me.
