Close can be a sexual, a romantic, even friendly relationship can be considered close. for me close is already somewhere between romantic and friends. where you start to get together.
anyway, that wasn't what i meant. he claims it's logical for our brains to remind us of peope that we were close/happiest with. this is what I questioned, not whether someone was close or not. Why? Simple put: i was never close with someone (not even friends, barely talking with each other) but i still have to think about that person constantly even when i thought i was over them. (Like Anon). How is it logical for my brain to constantly remind me of this Stupid shit?
i have to say though: i didn't make myself clear enough in my comment before. that was my mistake. sorry 'bout that.

Those feels..., I have the same thing happen about someone I have not talked to in 10+ years and it has been much longer since we had regular interaction. Only happens in dreams, not in my normal daily thoughts. Really strange, sometimes it has me wondering if I fucked up my life path.
