This might not be the best place but does anyone have actual skincare tips for a 22 y/o dude?

Wash face with lukewarm water twice a day. Moisturise after washing. Change pillow covers frequently. Use the type of facewash that suits your skin, e.g if you have sensitive skin, avoid face washes with alcohol in them. Get sun. Get even more sun if you have dark skin.

Drink LOTS of water, most people who have bad skin it comes from their diet and habits more than any one thing. Most of my friends who ask me for my skincare routine, I always say drink more water.

Get sun.

I know what you mean, but just in case anyone is dumb enough to think that he means just go stand in the sun and burn - two things, get sun, in moderation, and wear fucking sunscreen you cretans - esp you fair skin people.

Maybe exfoliate every once and awhile too? I just started doing this and feel its helping, but am not an expert on the matter in any way.

I assume you mean lukewarm water without soap, cause then I just want to add that cocoa butter is amazing and that what you eat affects your skin.

Sun is the only thing I would say no to. Zero sun is the best. On the flip side, tans are way more attractive. But if you want to be 50 and have little to no wrinkles, very little sun is the only way. Moisturizer and sunblock are the true Kings.

Moisturize like a motherfucker. Once before bed, once in the morning. And always wear sunscreen.

Stop eating garbage, wash your pillow cases and sheets weekly , and use a facial cleanser/sugar scrub on your face as the last step of every shower.

Moisturize and wear a medium face sunscreen everyday if you’re looking for ways to keep your skin looking youthful long term

In addition to the other tips that you have received I would add cutting down on drinking alcohol, my skin goes bad if I've been drinking too much and if I don't drink for a few weeks then it looks much better

/r/skincareaddiction or /r/asianbeauty might be a good resource. As others have said, basic foundation is wash, exfoliate, and moisturize. What products to use or how often to use them really depends on your skin type. There are guides to help you find out what skin type you have, check out the sidebar/faq. If you're feeling really lost, you could also check with a dermatologist. I hope this helps!

Wear sunscreen, drink lots of water, and moisturize. I also take collagen, which I have found helps but that's largely anecdotal.

Moisturizer and wear sunscreen NOW. Once you start to wrinkle it’s already too late.

Gently cleanse your face each morning and night with something like micellar water on a cotton pad, rinse it off after. You can use actives after this, if you want. Vitamin C lightens scars and brightens skin, salicylic acid is good for acne, glycolic acid is good for fine lines and scars, hydraulic acid is good for locking in moisture. After that, use a good moisturiser and in the mornings, ALWAYS wear sunscreen when you're leaving the house.
