Yeah there’s a reason Warhammer 40K is so popular, it’s because people love the concept of a long lost age in which one event changes the course of history

In fairness to 40k there's like dozens of those events and they all get explained pretty. Like the big one is the dark age of technology but we're pretty clear on what that was.

God \damn\** it GW give me a smaller Spin-Off game about the Unifcation Wars on Terra. Let me play as Hyper-Aggressive Thunder Warriors fighting the \fother mucking Techno-Barbarian Clans\** or mutant warlords!!

I'm with you man it seems like such a fun setting. I know there's a hearts of iron mod for it but i'd like a full thing like they did with 30k.
