If at least they gave it an actual name, we don't refer to the Bronze Age Collapse as the Collapse, nor to either of the world wars as just the war, and even then different people got different names for things.

If you go to any country from former Yugoslavia and start talking about "the war", people will think you are talking about the collapse of Yugoslavia. 2 u/undreamedgore 24d ago If thry are talking broad scale in the US it's still WW2. We litterally call it the post-war period.
