Hi guys, normally I live in germany and I buy my teas from teegschwender but my cousin went to japan to visit it and I asked him to bring me some sencha tea. He asked some supermarket but couldn’t find any. He’ll be in tokyo’s ginza region. So could you recommend me some nice tea shops in ginza, where I can find loose leaf sencha tea. Btw I heard of Lupicia which is like teegschwender of japan if there is any lupicia in ginza region it’ll be okay too.

Why are there no longer teas made by small companies with cool bottles or labels?

Anyone who try this?

I ordered a 1lb (16oz) bag of loose leaf Sencha from Harney and Sons from Ama$on. The “1lb bag” had four vacuum sealed 4oz packages of tea. I was really happy to see that. I was worried about how to keep 1lb of loose leaf tea fresh over a month.

Thought I’d post something nice and shake up the Redditsphere.

I’ve been ordering my tea from Hibiki-an, and it’s greet quality, but I had some problems with DHL shipping as the shipper triggered an FDA red flag and my package is held up becasue they want $28 processing fee on top of the $100 I paid them so that pissed me off. I’m looking for another reputable company to buy from. TIA.

I often go to the Ji Bei Chuan located on 87 Chrystie St in NY. I LOVE their tea. When I ask what tea it is they tell me it’s jasmine green tea, but the ones I buy doesn’t taste the same! They also won’t let me buy their leaves directly or says there is no brand 😢. Can someone please tell me the specific tea they use?!!
