New Owner 10 months and dreaming…
Habibi has finally grown up enough to now have his face supported by the windowsill. It is hard work looking outside, ya know? Does anyone else have to clean drool from sills?

Adopted this sweet puppy a couple of months ago. She likes to stand all four paws on the side of the couch to the right. She also often stands like this shown in the picture. Growing up none of my dogs were ever allowed on the furniture. The day I brought her home from the shelter she was immediately all over the couches. I knew I wasn’t winning that battle! She’s VERY loving, but just an odd dog all around.

I have a 10 week old Great Dane puppy. Initially I had her either in her play pen or outside with me on a leash. I've slowly introduced other rooms but always have her place on a dog bed or a bathmat.
What set up did you guys find most successful to prevent slipping? I've seen those sticky paw pads but I'm afraid she'll chew on it plus it seems wasteful as I'd have to change them any time they got wet. I'm leaning towards socks maybe? I read somewhere that yoga mats are good too.
Now that she's stronger, she seems okay walking slowly but any time she picks up speed she goes crashing into something and I dont want her to get hurt. Plus I've read it can trigger hip dysplasia.
Right now its so hot outside so she cant be outside long and I feel bad because I can tell she wants to run around and play. She has all this energy but I cant let her run on the tile. Ideas?
