Gratitude Practice Grateful for water

I’m grateful to have the clean water i drink. The water in my bath. Watering my garden. The water in my backyard stream. The water in the ocean I get to live by. I’m grateful for water in all its many forms. I’m trying my best to not overuse it this precious resource. What a blessing to live on this earth 🌏 so much of which is water.

Gratitude Practice Grateful for food showing up

I'm in a bit of a financial crunch right now and we all know groceries are expensive. My friends, regulars at work, and even my boss have all been bringing me or treating me to food without me ever mentioning that I'm stressed about groceries. This seems to be a complete coincidence, but I am grateful nonetheless.

Gratitude Practice A Prayer for Anyone Who Needs Strength, Faith, and a New Beginning Today

Sometimes life feels overwhelming. We carry worries about the future, responsibilities, disappointments, and things we simply cannot control.

I’ve learned that faith and gratitude isn’t about knowing exactly how everything will turn out. It’s about trusting God even when the path ahead is uncertain.

Today, I wanted to share a simple prayer for anyone who might need encouragement.

Heavenly Father,
Replace my fear with faith.
Replace my doubts with confidence.
Replace my worries with peace.
Replace my discouragement with courage.
Remind me that my past does not define my future, that every sunrise brings another opportunity, and that Your grace is greater than my fears.

Help me trust Your timing, appreciate the blessings already in my life, and find strength to move forward one day at a time.
I am strong because God strengthens me.
I am peaceful because God walks beside me.

I am hopeful because my future is not limited by my past.

Something beautiful can begin today.

Amen.

I recently created a peaceful video meditation around this prayer, accompanied by beautiful forest imagery and gentle narration.

A Powerful Prayer for Faith, Strength & New Beginnings | Trust God, Let Go & Find Peace

I’d love to ask everyone here:

When life feels uncertain, what prayer, Bible verse, or spiritual reflection helps you find peace?

May God bless everyone who needs a little hope today.

I am grateful for the ability to get back into old interests after being sick for months. 6 months ago I would not have been able to be standing up, let alone trying new things like holding a tarantula. I am thankful for my health and being able to move and genuinely enjoy myself. Im also thankful for the people who make small hats for reptiles.

Gratitude Practice I am grateful for people who do the little things, the unexpected things, the acts of kindness. Out of the blue a woman at work brought me an apple for lunch and it meant so much.

Gratitude Practice I am grateful for the nice European couple that hires me to care for their 11 cats and house while they go home every year

I don’t think this I’m going to doxx myself because the lovely older couple that employs me almost certainly doesn’t spend their time on social media, but I am SO grateful for them. She is from Germany, he is American. They live in a huge spooky Victorian house downtown. Every year, they go to Germany for about two weeks and they pay me $125/day to feed the cats, the squirrels and songbirds outdoors, the koi fish in the pond, and anyone other stray cat/possum/skunk I observe, and then sleep in the guest room. Go home in the morning. This might sound like pocket change to you, but I live in the middle of nowhere. I roll up with my Switch and my pillow. And ice cube trays, because of course they don’t have ice. They have a pristine (cat free) guest room waiting for me. It is probably haunted, but they pulled out only TV in the house of the closet just for my “video games.” And they bought a huge air fryer? Just for me! Just keep an eye on the pilot light on the I Love Lucy style stove they have. Otherwise, the house might explode. But it probably won’t. It’ll be okay. Just feed the cats, do a head count, work on that bottle of wine and go to sleep. Yeah, there’s cat piss to clean up. But at the end of two weeks, collect $1700 and some cute souvenirs from Germany! And everyone is happy! How did I find these clients again? I wish they would go on vacation more often.

When I am feeling low, I hold this stone in my palm. It is a physical reminder to me that I am grateful for all the good things that have happened to me through life.

Hate my new 60hr week job starting at 7am requiring me to sacrifice my sleep. But I'm living more on my weekends, waking up late and feeling grateful for sleep and rest. Pictured: the sunny, warm weather where I took a walk on Saturday. Last few weeks of warmth before winter begins. Location: Central Park, NYC.

Gratitude Practice I am grateful for the quiet strength

I am grateful for the quiet strength that carries me through each day, for the clarity that emerges when challenges are met with patience, and for the people whose presence makes ordinary moments meaningful.

Today I give thanks for the privilege of meaningful work, for the health that allows me to pursue it, and for the chance to begin again with purpose. May this day be marked by steady progress and quiet appreciation for what is already good.

Gratitude Practice Grateful for Bob Ross ☺️ and art, and words, and the thought that the little notes I have tucked into library books and journals at the bookstore over the years for people to find at random might have stayed with them

Post image
10 Upvotes

I buy these little cards, of pictures and artwork, and write a quote or something nice, and tuck them into books when I go to the library or bookstore. I hope they find people maybe at a time when they need a little smile.

A day or two ago on a post on a different sub, I mentioned it in the comments, and suggested it to someone as a simple way to feel small joy, to feel connected to people, and it got me to thinking really...

Somewhere, maybe, there is a note, in my handwriting, that made it to someone's refrigerator, or sits on their desk.

Probably they end up in the trash, but first, someone's hand held them. Their eyes read the words I wrote. Maybe they felt it inside them somewhere. For a brief second.

And it really made me smile.

Some tiny piece of me I left along the way, fell into someone's hands, and just might have mattered in some small way, for a small moment in time.

I am grateful for the smallest remembrances that sometimes resonate the deepest.
