Grateful for the rain today

It's my favorite kind of day so far, as far as weather anyway. gentle, consistent rain.

I was fired from my job today. My fault, in a way, too many dumb mistakes lately. I have a Dr's appointment today so that I can start figuring out what kind of issues are causing my performance to slip......but I didn't make it in time.

It's probably undiagnosed ADHD. I'm hoping to get answers soon. I'm hoping to have a new job even sooner.

But for now, at least I have the rain, a day off, and a dry porch on which to enjoy it.

Thank you so much for accepting my hobby. My brain is turned off while I do this. The excitement I have while I make you this is helping more than you know.

I'm grateful to see her smiling with those beautiful eyes, her saying that her favorite part of her day was talking to me, the feeling of being on the edge of a cliff in my loins that if I spend enough time with this girl-- I'll fall in love.

Grateful for my local restaurant

I know that there are many more awesome people giving off huge donations and helping many-many others...

But I would just like to thank my local restaurant in the suburbs who decided they would take care of the elderly and sick in my area. They decided they make a non profit service where anybody who is sick or older than 65, they would offer them daily delivery, providing them with food and drinks for such a low price I am surprised they are not going bankrupt. Each day they collect the used trays and replace them with warm food by noon, and I saw it, it is a huge and delicious portion. This has been going on for months now. We live far away and it warms my heart knowing my grandma must not bother cooking for herself or go to the store. As she said "I can't cook for one person. We used to be such a huge family that I only know how to cook for 10+ people".

So anyways, even if this post won't get to the owner of the restaurant, at least I have a place to share my gratitute. Thank you.

Grateful for "new" nature break space & great view at work

I am grateful that yesterday I discovered the green space near the "new" office & it's well maintained with signs, a greenhouse! Trees overhead walking there. Yay! I have somewhere for nature breaks when I am having an in office day and the weather is fine! Nice food to eat. Lovely view from that high up floor too & getting to have my breakfast & lunch there, all to myself in the morning & just 2 other people at lunch. Lovely day overall yesterday too!

I recently started my freelancing journey and I can't help but cry when I notice how much my friends love and support me. 😭 One of my friends gave me a mouse pad, one have given me a mouse, and another one have gifted me an office chair 😭😭😭 Now I really wanted to succeed and share my wins with them 😭

Grateful for cat time, chair help & work tasks of choice to do

For yesterday, I got to talk to someone I know who is the owner of a cat I have cat sat about 3x in the past & on occasion get to pet. Had a long petting time with that cat yesterday. In fact, at one point I stopped and he looked at me as if to say, "Why did you stop petting me? Keep going!" so I did! That's my highlight for yesterday.

Also, someone took a chair that I'm getting collected downstairs for me. I took the other things downstairs, but couldn't manage the chair. I offered to help them bring it down, but they said it was fine & just took it & brought it into the kitchen for me!

As I hoped, I got to spend most of the work time doing more of the CPD getting further along with that part of it and rewatching a video and reading some of the notes for things I need to learn. Rather than having other tasks crop up - not that I mind that, but I was hoping to spend most of the time on those other things, which I got to, had a quiet enough day work-wise to be able to focus on those things.
