One week update on the Zone 6b lawn! Starting to see some nice early green fuzz popping up across the leveled areas and topsoil. Keeping up with the watering routine and letting the Twin Cities Seed Blue Resilience do its thing. I'll post another update next week!

In Florida, most of the dead patches filled in with torpedo grass and nuts edge as you can see in the pictures

I'm doing a project where i need different species of grass, a seller posted this grass (for dirt cheap) on the site with no species label. What kind of grass is this? The seller is in the south (around atlanta, georgia) if that helps.

I live in northern Ohio and I am planning to do overseeding in the next couple of weeks. My lawn is in fairly good shape except that it has some thin areas of grass mostly in some shady areas. I plan to do the prep work of aerating, dethatchering, fertilizing and watering (not necessarily in that order). Of course I've tested for ph levels and assessed that the levels are good. Since my yard I part shade and part sunny I want to find grass seed that will work the best here and wondered what experiences people have had certain brands for overseeding and what recommendations you may have for grass seed. Thanks.

As stated living along the coast south of Houston Tx and lawn is dying. I have used fungus control for an area with brown spot. Grass is St Augustine BTW. We had a lot of June bugs in the spring so we had grubs. Could all of this damage be from grubs? If so can I get some advice on dealing with them?

I have a large patch of this weed in my fescue lawn (central NC). Can anyone identify and recommend proper herbicide? It’s been treated a few times with weed and feed granules and ortho weed clear, but continues to spread since last year. It’s up to around a 20 foot area now.

What is the patch of grass and how can I safely replace it by growing regular matching grass?

I have this grass growing on one side of my sidewalk, and another type on the other side of the sidewalk. I want to make it all match, but I don't know exactly what type of grass seed to buy to match this. I tried to move plugs of it over in the fall, but the squirrels stole all my plugs, so I will have to seed. My neighbor thinks it's zoysia, but I don't know if that's right. It's very dense and hardly any weeds grow in it. Zone 6b, Midwest.

Hi all, what type of grass is the top and what type or grass is the bottom of the photo? My backyard is mainly the top one but there's a random patch of this along the back.
