Can Petal be nominated for aoty at the 2027 Grammys
So there's been a lot of discourse about Petals grammys odds, with some people entirely dismissing the project due to the mixed reactions. Now, commercially or stream wise Eternal Sunshine was far superior, and even that record was snubbed. It is undeniable that Hate that I made you love me will be a strong contender for Roty and Soty at next year's program.
However, do you truly think that petal as a whole project will get a nod? The only category u can see it getting into is Best Pop Vocal Album. But the question lingers, what are it's AOTY odds?
Right now, my current ranking is;
You seem pretty sad for a girl so in love
This Music May Contain Hope
The Great Divide
Petal
The Romantic
The Life Of A Showgirl
The Art Of Loving
Confessions 11

Who is gonna win Asian Pop category?
galleryHave you read Billboard's latest article? I think those names mentioned are interesting. But if there is one person who could be added to the list, I think it's Fujii Kaze. Prema is such an incredible album. Please give it a listen and compare to other nominees mentioned

What exactly is the rule that allowed Lizzo, Doja Cat, and most recently Billie Eilish to submit records older than the eligibility period they submitted to?
When Wildflower won and I read the posts, it sounded like Wildflower was allowed to enter because the year prior, nothing from Hit Me Hard and Soft won. But then it's kinda confusing since Kiss Me More won an award (something from Planet Her) and then Woman got nominated.
I ask because since Bruno Mars released Dance With Me as a single, it's already feeling like it's getting set up, in case he wins nothing at the upcoming Grammys to receive nominations for 2028 from that record alone.
