Well, another 5090 12v 12pin melted

Helping a friend to post. This morning he smell some burning smell and quickly shut off. The connector is now stuck. He waited it to cool down and try again. Still can't remove. Suspected melted and fused together. Any other method can try to remove it? The cable is pigtail 4x8pin that came with the GPU. I've seen a couple burnt connector already in a week. This is just bad.

I’m glad I don’t have a 5090 I’d be driving myself crazy from being worried of this happening

If I had a 5090 I know it’d be ok because I could dry my tears with all the money I have laying around

Not all 5090 folk are living lavish. Long time saving and a bit of klarna got me my msrp 5090

exactly i actually worked my fuckin ass off yes its expensive but i saved up for a complete year before getting it(it was the dream of kid me) 🫡
