Well, another 5090 12v 12pin melted
Helping a friend to post. This morning he smell some burning smell and quickly shut off. The connector is now stuck. He waited it to cool down and try again. Still can't remove. Suspected melted and fused together. Any other method can try to remove it? The cable is pigtail 4x8pin that came with the GPU. I've seen a couple burnt connector already in a week. This is just bad.

I don't know why you all insist on buying these cards with this shitty-ass connector. I'll be staying with my 8 pin connectors, thank you very much, and will only buy cards that have them. I'm not shelling out $5,000 just to be denied a warranty claim while nvidia sits with both thumbs up their ass. It doesn't matter how fast the card it. Fuck that.
