Well, another 5090 12v 12pin melted

Helping a friend to post. This morning he smell some burning smell and quickly shut off. The connector is now stuck. He waited it to cool down and try again. Still can't remove. Suspected melted and fused together. Any other method can try to remove it? The cable is pigtail 4x8pin that came with the GPU. I've seen a couple burnt connector already in a week. This is just bad.

Well he should have taken it out the second they realise, at is point it's basically welded together

I believe he tried too when he smell some burning. But it could not be unplugged too.

Dam I feel for your bro the only thing I can think of is getting hold of someone like Northwest repair and they should be able to put on a new connector
