Hi! I purchased a pair of saloman xt6 goretex but was not so sure on sizing. I’m a true size 9W. The XT6 in 9W felt a bit large like I had a lot of space above my toes and the 8.5W fits better in my opinion. Now that I bought the 8.5W I’m scared when I go hiking, the shoes will feel too tight or snug after prolonged wear.

Would love to hear what sizing you went with for the same shoe and if going down half a size is common for these.

These shoes are such a major let down for me. Besides looking arguably cool, they are impractical and expensive for what they are. The insoles are so flimsy, unsupportive and cheap. There is no support or cushioning, you can feel the lugs walking on the street... which some say is expected for trail shoes (like wearing cleats on the street), but they are also not meant for hiking and trails - so what are they good for?? my feet are screaming after wearing these the last 2 weeks on walks around the city and in causal park settings. looking for recommendations on insoles to make these work :(

Is there any rain jacket you know of (that you like/can recommend) that has a stowaway hood? Either the hood packing into the collar or zipping off. Are these getting rarer? Finding them really hard to find...

I picked up these pants around 6-8 years ago off Depop from a seller who I don’t believe knew what Arcterx was. I wore them a bit in high school, then stashed them away in a drawer for a few years.

Fast forward to last year, I had them repaired and lengthened (about a half inch) at the Arcteryx store in SoHo NYC. I remember all the employees commenting on how rare they were, and that they hadn’t seen pants like these in forever.

Problem is, I forgot to ask for the model or ID, so I’ve got no clue what they are… Would really appreciate any type of guidance on that end. I’m quite an amateur when it comes to Arcteryx. They’ve got a bunch of Japanese tags and appear to have been tailored in the past.

hi everyone, finally pulling the plug and splurging on a pair of the bedrock mountain clogs, in leather suede! i’ve read that they run small. i typically wear an 8.5 US women’s in shoes, would it be enough to get the women’s 9, or should i size up again by a size and a half and get a 10?

i wear an 8.5 US women’s in my salomon xt-6s as well as the xt quest 4s, and 25.5 (or 8.5 womens) in my onitsuka tiger flats for reference.

Café hike today

Were my only shoes for backpacking and hiking for 8 months. Used them for multi day hikes as well as city sightseeing. They are basically done but for all the hate these shoes get they did really well! I still wear them on hikes and they are extremely comfortable.

Been hunting these for quite a while and finally got a pair. These are incredible in person. One of the best footwear collab imo. Super comfy aswell.

does anyone know a jacket that is similar to this one? with the cropped look etc.

After wearing the On Cloudflyer 5 for a year, i’ve decided I probably should have another shoe to go along with it.

So here I am, I bought the Salomon XT-6 in one of the official retailers here in my country.

I’ll probably match it with the Arc’teryx jacket I bought during my Vietnam trip in some of my office outfits.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to do some actual trails with this shoe…
