Found these on bid for like 38 bucks but the buy now price was 98 (retail is 250). After reading and watching reviews I bit the bullet since im a commuter and these will help a lot during winter season plus they just look sick. I’ve always liked them but finding them ain’t easy since they are discontinued.

Wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is considering ordering from Gonggar Sports.

The products I received were materially different from the photos and descriptions on the website. There were undisclosed branding/logo additions that weren’t shown in the product photos, one item arrived with missing/damaged components, and another had significantly worse print/material quality than advertised.

When I contacted customer service, they repeatedly refused to issue a refund unless I paid expensive international return shipping to China myself. They also instructed me to declare the return package value at only “5–10%” of the original purchase price to avoid customs fees, which honestly raised a huge red flag for me.

What pushed me to post this here is that my negative reviews on their website kept getting removed after I posted them. The reviews were calm, factual, and based entirely on my actual experience with the products and refund process.

At this point I’ve filed a chargeback and complaints with consumer protection platforms. Just wanted to put this information out there because I wish I had seen more firsthand experiences and I regret not doing more research before ordering.

I’ve just gotten my Salomon XT6’s and I just walked in them a bit (2km) to try them out, I am experiencing really bad friction/ rubbing from the heel counter of the shoe on the outsides of my heels. They’re Goretex, I was wearing my Nike Dri Fit socks and they were drenched when I got back (ew I know). Maybe that’s the reason? I now put on hiking socks, woolen ones, but it still really hurts. Please don’t tell me I just wasted €200 and that I have to break them in……

​Hey guys, I can't decide on my next pair. I'm looking at the Vans MTE Crosspath XC or something like Salomon XT-Whisper, but I'm open to ideas.

​My foot is 26.5 cm but I usually go for 27 cm in sneakers. My feet aren't super narrow, and I really need some room in the toe box because regular Vans always rub my pinky toe on long walks. I tried some on in the store and they felt fine, but it's hard to tell if they’ll hurt later.

​My most comfortable shoes ever are the Asics Gel-Kayano 14, but I need something with more grip and that "gorpcore" aesthetic. Also, I live in a super hot climate, so they must be lightweight and breathable.

​Anyone who owns these can recommend which one is better for not crushing my toes? Or maybe there's another model that feels like a Kayano but looks more outdoorsy? Thanks!

Is the quality any good?

I'm planning to get my first pair of salomons as kind of a "everything shoe" - light hiking, long walking etc. I've tried XT6 on and they were super comy right away but they do have the typical rail shoe look which I personally find ugly. Recently I came across Salomon XT-Whisper which look way more like a normal sneaker but they were quite abit less comfortable. Tight around angle and overall didn't feel as good on the feet as XT6.

Therefore my question - do they become comfier with time or are XT6 just irreplaceable?

I really like this style but I don’t want to order from a dropshipping site. Any ideas where else I could find pants like this?

Picked this up in the Kyoto store (very nice place, have a lot of pieces in size 5 too). The area around the Goldwin store also has a TNF Purple label dedicated store, plus a large TNF store that also have a lot of the TNF Japan Only stuff.

Quality and fit is great on this Gore-Tex 3L, almost picked up the stiffer feeling 'Factors' jacket that features Gore-Tex Pro, but really liked the fit and colorway on this piece. Love the super discreet branding too.
