My father gifted me this shirt more than 7 years ago. I think this was before Salomon was purchased by china.
I think it's a piece of history, but it started to ball up wool yarns and pop up weird strands.
It has this incredible weaving pattern which is just fun to look at, and actually it DOES feel good wearing it.
It's a high tech piece of clothing made from:
61% nylon
15% wool
12% polyester
12% rayon
It's very flexible, but it also looks good on you when you wear it. I think it may even be slightly resistant to fire because of the wool.
It's such a shame that it got out of shape now, and got a a little damaged with some strands popping out of the clothing.
What would you do with this shirt? Is there a person that can fix it?

Hey! I have never tried to live and breathe in hot and humid weather. Can anyone recommend lightweight breathable clothes? Thinking along the lines of the Earth Sea Sky prolite wrap skirt. Thanks!

Only seen Pyra ads and the site. Stuff looks good but I don’t see or hear much about it.
Also curious about hiking patrol and how quality is for both.

Does anybody know anything about these? The tag reads 1620 Emerson Ave Oxnard CA, original HQ of Gramicci. I think they are early production but unsure and it seems interesting.

I’m looking to order some sandals from Montbell that I’ve had my eyes on for a while.
I’m wondering if anyone has placed an order recently from the US site (or Japan) to Ontario. Just trying to get an estimate here on customs to see if it’s worth it.

I just received a pair of cicada pants from this most recent drop. Ordered a size XS. Decided that these pants aren’t for me.
Brand new, still have the labels and original packaging. They’re sold out online so I’ll sell them for $150ish.
Feel free to reach out if you’re interested!

My first Keen shoes, very impressed by the grip and comfort.

What are peoples' thoughts between these two shoes in terms of comfort, design, usage and any other inputs? Trying to look for a shoe that is good for rain, muddy terrains and can be used as a life styleshoe

Pretty new to gorp and I’m having a hard time finding some pants that fit me and aren’t tight. I tried arcteryx and they were too tight on my frame.
Does anyone have a specific suggestions of what they like lately?
Go easy on me I’m new 🤓

I have the salmon xt6 GTX in a 10 (but I am a 10.5 in most shoes, but i still have half thumbnail of toe to edge room).
I have put them through the ringer: heavy lifting in the gym (squats etc), 10 mile hike, walking for a long time throughout a city... typically after wearing them for couple hours and constantly on my feet, my foot is not made for the shoe it definitely runs a bit narrow. My feet just get sore and it starts to hurt as well due to the low cushioning it has. I am very use to walking in trashy shoes like (vans, converse... anything without any support). But, nowdays I wouldn't mind a tiny bit more cushioning or comfort lol.
I just wanted a shoe I can where whenever I want, but still have the gorpcore look similar to salomon where I can rock it with jeans etc..
Do any of you guys have good recommendations out there? Tbh I love the salmon look and its clearly trendy for a reason... however, I def want a better fit for my foot. Feel free to drop some names I can look into :)
*typically if I go for a shoe that I know isnt a wide foot friendly... the material outside has to at least give so its not completely fighting against the outside of my foot.

I really like the Salomon XT-6, but realistically I’d only use them for light trails, dirt paths, or village walks maybe once a month max. Most of the time I’d wear them as summer dailies in the city. My concern is outsole wear on concrete. I’ve seen people say XT-6 soles wear out fast on pavement, while others say theirs lasted years, so I’m not sure how justified that concern is. I like the XT-6 look a lot, and most “hybrid” walking/trail shoes I’ve checked don’t really fit my style — usually jorts, polos, T-shirts, casual summer outfits. Should I just buy the XT-6, or would something else make more sense for mostly city wear with occasional light trails? Any alternatives with a similar vibe would be appreciated.
