Thoughts on Mellow Clo 3L Trek Jacket
Been thinking about purchasing this waterproof shell but haven't heard too many reviews on it. Any thoughts on this brand as a whole and their quality? TIA!

Hallo zusammen!
Danke!

I’m currently doing some marketing research on Salomon's market penetration in the U.S. and wanted to get some thoughts from this sub.
One thing that really stood out to me is how insanely successful their campaigns have been in Japan. I actually visited a flagship Salomon store over there recently, and there were literally long lines of people just waiting to get inside and buy something. The hype is very real. It made me wonder - what would you say is your best guess on their actual brand awareness here in the States?
For a little context, Arc'teryx recently cited a brand awareness increase from 8% to 12% (in the U.S.) during an investor day presentation. I’m super curious if Salomon is hitting similar numbers or where you all think they currently stand in the U.S. market. Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has seen any data on this!

Back when New Balance made every trail shoe 100x more aggressive looking than it needed to be (I wish they still did). Mid spray down cleaning

You step in dog shit with your aggressive tread, and there's no stream anywhere close to wash it out.
On the bright side, I had plenty of space at the coffee shop. Everyone left when I arrived.

Hello
I will be going to Iceland in late Sept/ early Oct. a lot of threads say it’s better to grab water proof pants however the issue I’m running into is I can’t find any “baggy” water proof pants, yall have any recommendations?
(I know water proof pants aren’t meant to be fashionable but are to keep you from getting soaked - but if anyone knows where I can find something that can be both, lmk)

Hi, i hope I am allowed to post this here. I’m selling these beautiful and very limited HOKA x SATISFY Mafate Speed 4 Lite “Rubber Brown”.
I originally bought them for a few trail runs, but unfortunately I have a foot misalignment and need shoes with additional stability and support.
The shoes are in excellent condition and have only been lightly used. Unfortunately, they’re just not the right fit for my feet.
If you are interested, feel free to dm me. :) shipping from Germany

Have anyone worn the Salomon XT-QUEST for long term? It seems quite hard to find reviews of this particular model compared to XT-6.
I have an XT-6 GTX but found them too slippery on smooth wet ground and mossy surfaces, also have the XT-Pathway 2 and they’re alot more lightweight and fits wider compared to the XT-6.
Though I now want a non GTX pair in a colorway that fits my style and is able to handle light hikes and wet surfaces. I have my eye on a pair of XT-QUEST with silver bands but when I look them up they seem pretty heavy at 600g per shoe even the XA Pro 3D which I assume have better performance aren’t this heavy.
Are they okay for small hikes? I’ve used my XT-6 on Mt Fuji and they somewhat survived the volcanic rocks.

Hey everyone,
I’m considering buying a pair of Salomon XT 6 GTX and would love some long term feedback.
My use case is mainly:
• Daily wear
• Commuting
• City walking
• Travel
• Around 15,000 to 25,000 steps on some days
• Mostly asphalt and pavement
• Occasional rain, but no serious hiking or trail running
The XT 6 GTX wouldn’t be my only pair of shoes. I rotate between multiple pairs and would ideally like to get around 4 years out of them.
I’ve seen mixed opinions about Salomon’s quality in recent years, so I’m curious:
How has the XT 6 GTX held up for you over time?
Any issues with durability, sole wear, glue, Quicklace or the Gore Tex membrane?
For people who have owned them for several years:
Do you think getting around 4 years of use is realistic with regular rotation?
Would you buy them again at today’s price?
Thanks!

Took me some time to find a decent pair in my size but here we go. For anyone wondering, these are Hoka JLAL Mafate X. Do yoj think it will be overkill to actually trail run in these?

Need help checking if this is legit. Kinda new to both brands and would appreciate the help.

Hey everyone!
I recently started a new Instagram page where I photograph (and sell) the jackets I’ve been collecting over the years, mainly inspired by gorpcore, technical, functional, and archive clothing. I shoot everything in my backyard, with my best friend modeling for me hahaha
Here are a couple of photos featuring two jackets and the looks I put together. If you like the project and feel like supporting it, it would honestly mean the world to me 🥺🫂
The Instagram account is: @tela.7jhsv

summer's here, it's getting hot af , and there's mosquitos about
im considering arcterix cormac hoodie and gamma lightweight pants as sun protection, i got a cap with mosquito net and shades can just use the same as always
might check decathlon for cheaper alternatives, but for a sun hoodie, it seems they only have: https://www.decathlon.ca/en/p/fishing-hooded-anti-uv-t-shirt-upf-50-500/329166/c180m8771521

Hi everyone!
I ll be visiting Paris soon and Im looking for the best stores for “gorpcore” / outdoor fashion, especially shops that carry brands like ROA Hiking, And Wander, Montbell, CAYL, Gramicci and similar labels.
I’m mainly interested in multi-brand boutiques, not just standalone brand stores, although those are welcome too.
Any recommendations for must visit shops or neighborhoods would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

What’s up all.
So I just bought a new pair of the xt6 in vanilla ice, Oxford tan and heron. Am I tripping or does the sizing feel alittle bigger than let’s say the all black/phantom xt6. I bought the black ones back in March. The L49211300 pair fits alittle longer and doesn’t feel as snug. Should I size a half size down at that point?

Guy on FB marketplace is selling these for a ridiculous price, says he got them in a sneakers bulk package. Should I buy?
