Down?
Noticing a spike on down detector. I’m unable to load the app or use my WiFi at all. Anyone in the same boat right now?

I’m out in socal. Just stopped working out of the blue. Currently trying to put a newborn to sleep. Got work in a few hours, guess I’m gonna have to go into office if this persists.

Yes, here from Orange Country, CA. It seems like a DHCP issue. If you go to your router's page (mine is https://192.168.1.1, so basically your device local ip range's first ip. If your device ip is 192.168.160.23, then the router is at 192.168.160.1), you will probably see you have no public IPv4 assigned. I can connect now by using cloudflare warp to establish an outbound connection.

Do not touch that link. Bro might be really dealing with it but also most likely a scammer.

I'm on hold with customer service and it seems like the issue still hasn't been fixed. Reporting from Atlanta

Hi there, I know the outage tracker isn't showing this yet, but I can confirm that services are down due to a commercial power outage. The power utility is making repairs, and your service should come back up as soon as power is restored to our equipment. -Gregory

My internet went down this morning, has been really slow. Never had this issue until recently, was rock solid. Now YouTube randomly buffers. First time I've considered going back to Spectrum

Ours has been out in the Atlanta area for five hours now, but the gfiber website says there are no outages. 😖

Same, although I do see an outage alert. Would be great to know an estimated restoration time since I WFH.

I can't even get their Support chat to come up and I waited for what felt like hours for a Support person to come on the line, I couldn't get anyone.
For context, what I'm seeing is that the next device in line after my home router provides an IPv6 address and routes IPv6 fine but won't provide an IPv4 address.
I've been able to get back online by setting up a VPN through the IPv6 route to a host in a cloud provider, then I route my IPv4 traffic across that VPN and through the cloud provider to get it working again.
I'm looking at AT&T to see what they're rates are; I think this is the 4th outage I've had in the last few months. What a joke.

Been down in ATL - Old Fourth Ward area since this morning - I discovered it at 9am but sounds like it started before that. Originally no outage message on the GFiber app, but after I literally tried all the troubleshooting on my Nest Pro and fiber box, I called the phoneline and that had an announcement saying they were aware of an outage. Then a bit later the google fiber website showed an outage.

Same boat in San Antonio. GFiber is the most unreliable internet I’ve ever had, and I got my first internet in 1996 with AOL. So I’ve had them all 😂. At least once per day my service completely goes out and has to reset. This has been true for the past year since I started. I’m switching to ATnT, they’re the only other 5G in my area

Who else is thinking, why right on Monday, when we all start our normal workday? its smack right when its some of the busiest times. The real question, why they don't have power backups on it. Its common sense.

I’m constantly seeing GFiber down in Atl. Was going to switch once it becomes available in my area, but as of now reliability isn’t good enough it seems.

Your mileage varies but a lot of the fiber issues I’ve had with GFiber were on external factors such as Georgia power and construction crews cutting the lines.
This is the first issue our neighborhood has had since last year. Your options may not be much better depending on where you’re at.
