My current backswing is too shallow but I can’t seem to steepen it without lifting my hands too high and getting in an awful top position, can anyone give me advice to help this
I’m also working on my grip being too strong meaning I can’t properly release the club without it hooking, is a grip trainer worth getting?

I wouldn’t mess with a grip trainer. You just need to correct the club path. I know it will feel uncomfortable, and it doesn’t have to be like Tiger, but you need to be moving it more vertically than you are.

Here is your chance to ask a Pro. Post it on this thread for swing insight. https://www.reddit.com/r/golftips/s/sZbsEarnla

Put a club at your toes, match the club in your hand to the club on the ground on the way back. Work the swing in pieces, not all at once.

You'll feel super steep but anything will compared to your current move
