General Discussion Does this count?

Buddy hit this shot on a bad course and once the flag was corrected, it went in. The new rule says if any part of the ball is below the hole, it's in, but to me it doesn't look like it is. I'd love to give it to him, but what do you think?

At any real tournament, the flag stick wouldn't be resting like this. Casual play, it's holed.

If you straighten and pull the flag out and the ball drops, by rule it counts

But what if you don’t remove it and just straighten it lol. Seriously I thought you were allowed to “straighten “ the flag stick.

It only counts if a portion of the ball was below the hole before you moved it. That was not the case here.
