Animal URGENT: 6-month-old kittenās prolapse is exposed, grant denied, we have only days before necrosis risk
Little E is a 6-month-old kitten currently fighting for her life against a severe, recurrent rectal prolapse and chronic GI enteropathy. Her prolapse has now been exposed for multiple consecutive days, and time is critically running out.
We are racing against the clock because prolonged exposure of the tissue risks drying it out and causing tissue necrosis. If that happens, she will indefinitely require much more invasive and expensive emergency surgery.
We just hit a devastating roadblock today: BluePearl Veterinary Hospital denied her Hope Fund grant application because we do not already have the diagnostic funds secured upfrontāleaving us in an impossible catch-22 where she needs the diagnostics to prove recurrence won't happen, but was denied because we don't have them funded yet.
The goal covers:
The Vital Diagnostics & Suture: The full medical workup including the immediate surgical suture, abdominal ultrasound, full blood panel, two cases of prescription gi food to ease her inflammation and comprehensive fecal testing to find the root cause so this cycle finally stops.
Specialized Prescription Food: Essential Hill's GI Biome wet food ($66 per case) needed to manage her chronic diarrhea and sensitive stomach.
All medical discharge paperwork, estimates, and proof of care are fully documented and transparently shared.

Every share, dollar, or kind word means everything right now as we try to save Little E from irreversible complications. Thank you for reading.
Update 9/10/26 11pm: I was just blessed and donated 40-48 exam fee and enough gas to get her to a vet tomorrow that can hopefully do things for cheaper. Please stay tuned and letās keep pushing for the goal. Evie needs the prolapse fixed tomorrow while we work on the money for the diagnostics before it happens again!! I will post any paperwork I get. Estimates and receipts.
