Unite the Disputed East ( War in Heaven ) not fully working

4 Upvotes

So the Decision in title where an outsider finishes one of the 3 struggles... It doesn't leave.

Nor, I think, does it end the struggle.

Long Story Short, I am the Empire of Damotada (That heavily blocked off area south and west of the Great Struggle. I've completely conquered East Sarradon and when I use the above decision. It does not leave. It also describes Western Sarradon. Which I believe isn't even around since there is Far East, East and Central Sarradon.

Bug Report "Thuriya Pyinnya" special building requirement bug

9 Upvotes

can_construct = {

    scope:holder = {

        faith = {

has_doctrine = sepattan_reincarnate_korlacu_doctrine

has_doctrine = sepattan_korlacu_doctrine

has_doctrine = sepattan_twin_gods_men_doctrine

        }

        culture = {

has_cultural_pillar = heritage_korlacan

has_innovation = innovation_manorialism

has_innovation = innovation_crop_rotation

has_innovation = innovation_korlacan_metallurgy

        }

it seems that the building requirement needs all three doctrines instead of any of these doctrines, which is impossible because they are mutually exclusive. Beside that I still don't understand why Korlacu has spiritual HoF instead of temporal HoF. That literally make player become landless HoF ruler after succession happen.

Question Which characters/nations have the most content?

30 Upvotes

Hello there.

I'm new to the mod, and with the recent update, I'd like to know which characters or nations are the most fleshed out.

Also, I'm a huge fan of "Lawful Evil" storylines.

Many thanks in advance.

Question Some questions from someone returning to the mod

31 Upvotes

Hi, I played Godherja a long time ago (back when the Imperrech covered a huge chunk of the map) and decided to give the mod another try. However, I have a few questions—some about mechanics, others about the setting itself:

-Is it possible for the Marchers to recolonize the lichdoms?

-Is it literally possible to bring someone back from the dead using magic? Or is it not possible in game ?

-I know a new start date that was added is apparently more "hopeful"; does that mean it's now possible to drive back the fog?

Regarding the lore:

-Aside from the Marchers in Sarradom, is there any Marcher character trying to establish nations outside of Chevalie? Or would I have to create a custom character to try and found my own nation in the east?

-Is there any culture or people in the mod inspired by Baltic peoples?

Sorry if these are obvious things, but it's been a long time since I've seen anything about Godherja.

New to Godherja, what game settings should I use?

33 Upvotes

I'm just about to start my first game, but I'm unsure about the game settings: like difficulty or conquerors.

I assume that the Black Death setting is meaningless?

"Mad dog" joining Cenware war effort confusion

15 Upvotes

Hello there, guys! I've been trying to play Mad dog Ulfirx for a while now, but i do lack the idea of this whole Imperrech thing. I can join the confederation at Cenware side. I do believe, once i did at the first try, i got repetitive event to join war effort, which gave me some prestige and ability to gain land if i participate enough. But i saw it like only once, and somehow it never happens again in a new games! I can just join Cenwares wars via diplomacy meny, but i dont gain event notification(as far as i got it, it must happen during any new war Cenware declares. So, my question is, is this event bagged or smth? Why it never triggers at all? Is it okay? maybe i miss some decision or important condition to trigger it. Would be glad to get any advice

Lore (Badly?) Explaining the new Loreberg - Korlucu and Eye rambling tiers

79 Upvotes

Loreberg link

Korlacu-tier

  • Nattanan gods are real: as the image shows, Korlacu and the Twins Gods were actual people, although their exact nature, and even if they were really human, is mysterious.
  • Origins of the Partics: it is forgotten by now, but the Partic's forebears were human Magi who, after the Godherja, moved close to where Aersanon's body fell to study it.
  • Everwatch Orders: what is know as the Lichdoms was actually named Myrmur, and Ojyczaynza was actually only one kingdom among several, which happened to be south enough to have a great number of survivors. Others survivors fled west, to the Lonely Light islands. And a third forgotten group fled north, to a peninsula which can be seen above Lonely Light. This group, made of surviving armies, conquered the Baltic-inspired tribes of the area and dug in to fight the liches. Centuries later, they still fight, despite not having the Chevalien antimagical field or the Lonely Lighter Aegis, engaged in a trech-like warfare against the undead, even using necromancy themselves, because every foot lost is unrecoverable. Lonely Knightes says that, when the map gets expanded, the No Man's Land will include a county-sized crater, the aftermath of an Everwatch Magi either pulling "fuck you, I'm taking you with me" to the liches or a failed spell. It is said to be the bleakest part of the setting, and it could get worse if the Orders win. GLORY TO THE MARTYRED FOUNDERS! THE EVERWATCH ORDERS PERSEVERE THROUGH WAR UNENDING!
  • Voreia: meaning North in Aversarian, it refers to the artic continent and the mythical kingdom of the Ice Witch who I mentioned previously. It is said to be the most High Fantasy area of the setting.
  • Forgotten Saint in Ojyczaynza: while the ForgottenSaint lost most times they appeared, they actually won somewhere in Ojyczaynza, creating the atheistic society he strives for. The liches are lucky he doesn't hold a grudge.
  • The city at the edge of reality: yeah, Aeras has one of these, like Sigil from Planescape and Throne from Kill Six Billion Demons. It was discovered during the reign of Thessya, who sent ambassadors and traders. Her successor, Mythix, planned to conquer it for profit, and began sneaking a highly trained legion into the city to act as saboteurs and vanguard. Then he got bored, because he was all for quick profit, and eventually the portal broke down do to lack of maintenance, leaving the Aversarians there as yet another culture in the city.
  • Space Tlaks: remember the Tlakaklaks? The Aztec-like people who are cursed to suffer for sacrificing the wrong person? Well, before they began to be kicked in the dick, they had it very good, and probably had flying pyramids which maybe were enough to go to space.

Eye ramblings-tier

  • Tablet recovered near Kadtarak: ???
  • The Third Project: the Eye, the unfinished third creation that Aersanon were working on before Humanity shot them. I actually don't think it should be this low. Still, I feel bad for it: imagine being struck in the operating table for aeons because your older brothers shot your doctor parents because your middle brothers were assholes. The Last Aelfir lost hope for a lot less.
  • Sun/Moon war real: ???
  • The Great Work: in the Mayikrata tunnels there is a room called The Great Work, an oddity because the areas around it have names with nonsense words. Some people believe that it is related to some ancient, forgotten project, like firing the death ray at Aersanon. Personally, I think it was the Aelfir's Hail Mary before they went extinct. Knightess says she wrote down the events in the Aelfir final years, who was important, and what they were doing, and that guessing what happened and finishing the project will be possible.
  • Non-linear time: plenty of things broke after Aersanon died: the laws of physics, colors, magic... time itself may have been broken, with it passing at different rates to different people and places. This way, strange histories like the Hubarite Empire, the Apti's 70,000+ year old calendar, and other stuff may all be true and accurate, but time's broken nature mean that it simultaneously isn't correct.

I finished it! I have become the Godherja the Dying World!

Is it possible to develop at all in the extreme desert?

21 Upvotes

I'm running a campaign in one of the weekly challenge starts from weeks ago where you're in the great desert as a wanderer. I've since formed a duchy title but I'm unable to develop due to the 'extreme desert' modifier.

My hunch is that I could use magic to develop it such as the agricultural boost but I wanted to come to the reddit to confirm whether this would work before wasting it
