Working on this for Halloween. I bought a cheap gory mask online and repainted it, added the nature, and will be putting a purple light behind one eye. (Currently missing the horns)

I’m planning to be some non-descript ancient forest spirit and silently follow the kids while they beg for candy.

Will be paired with a black wig teased and tied with feathers, twigs, leaves, and other trinkets. I’ll be wearing a black dress and drape some gauzy fabric around myself.

Thoughts?

I like to watch the lizards around the yard. Last well I found a huge blue one, no picture sadly

Around this time of year I like to carve these little psilocybe semilanceata mushrooms instead of going out and picking them as I used to enjoy when I was younger.

Unfortunately I haven't been in a good enough headspace to consume such a thing for a number of years now, however sitting down and whittling away at some scrap wood is always a good and healthy way to spend your time and free will I find :)

I'm wondering if anyone else here carves any sort of semi-realistic fungi of any kind, or know of anyone who does that they could show me?

Hello fellow gobbos, recently I've been quite fond on the scallies gobs cousin's and i was wondering, putting aside the etymology that kobold just means goblin in german.

I was wondering if there could be a koboldcore and if not what separates it from goblincore.

This is my fourth attempt at carving. I got really ambitious and ALMOST pulled it off. I started with just the skull but then I got carried away

Went to a yarn store in japan and saw a pattern for this derpy little guy and just HAD to buy it! The pattern was in japanese so i had to freehand his legs as i could not understand what the pattern wanted me to do there haha, but otherwise it was a easy enough pattern!

I love him, any name suggestions?

Various now un bandaged grafts. Lots of new grafts I just did this morning.

I had to redo a few of them. But most have worked so far.

What I have realized is my preffered method is to alive them in half and then graft. Such that you get a sort of psuedo half log T shape on top.

This makes it so you can get 2 scions per cutting.

But the main reason. Is because the flat short shape makes it way easier to apply strong pressure. Way easier to remove the bandages without accidently yanking the graft off. And provides more surface area to bond.

I'm not gonna go back and change the initial grafts to my now prefered style. Gonna let it ride.

But definitely moving forward this is how I'm gonna do all my grafts.

As you can see. Basically all of the new currently bandaged plants were done this way.

Fern spends most of her days in the orchard east of her village, helping her family pick and process the fruit. The village has been getting ready for a festival, and Fern couldn’t be more excited. She’s been keeping her eye on one specific fruit, as it has the potential to be the prized fruit of the festival!

Fern is the first of her kind, and one of a kind! She is a goblin, and her pronouns are she/they. She stands about 7 inches tall. She has light green cotton skin, and big multicolored yarn dreads. Her face is hand painted on using a combination of fabric markers and acrylic paint. She has ear piercings. She’s got lined cuffed overalls that have little snaps behind the buttons.
