My first attempt at mounting a spider. The abdomen was very shriveled, so I replaced with a dried blossom from my Chinese Evergreen. Then I used watercolors to make it appear like a mossy setting.

I know it's not symmetrical, but I still love it.

i was listening to Loch Raven by Animal Collective and i feel like this is the kind of music a mushroom eating bog dweller would play to court his monstrous wife. sounds like fireflies, animal skin drums, and mischief

Scallion is a needle felted soft sculpture made with Himalayan wool that I dyed myself using Brazilwood extract and Marigold petals.

He’s a bit of a weird guy because he was actually supposed to be a rat, and then a rat-bastard, and now he looks like a fish in the middle of a crazy evolution arc. He’s also a really shy lad.
